I love a casual yet chic outfit combination for university. So I went for this lovely navy blue jumpsuit which is perfect for the end summer/beginning autumn season as I like to call it. Blue Jumpsuit – Sheinside Shoes – Zara Star necklace – Sence Copenhagen
Sometimes, capital cities like Paris just require a pair of very comfy Nikes to survive the day. Sunglasses – D&G Sneakers – Nike Pants – Zara Leather Jacket – Zara Necklace – Sense Copenhagen
To love, laughter, and happily ever after…! When two people tie the knot it’s always a special moment. And when these people are close friends of yours it is even more emotional. On the 15th of August my dear friend Isabella married her fiancé and I got invited to their wedding party. It was such a lovely evening with a lot of fun and I was moved to tears. It’s not just a big step in someones life, it’s a memory you will never forget. So intimate, so wonderful. I wish the two all the best for their future together!
When Lisa came over for breakfast she wore this beautiful leo printed blouse from Zara. The basic white with the light brown and black pattern on it is just perfect. Fallen for it right-away, such a nice in-between piece for summer and autumn.
Finally there is a place in Potsdam where you can buy some Macarons! A friend of mine got married last week and I was looking for some macarons which would complete my gift for the bridal couple. And tadaa I found THE place. Besides that Fräulein Jakobine (owned by lovely Anne Gersitz) is a little café where you can also enjoy some coffee, different cakes, muffins and weekly changing lunch dishes. A macaron costs € 1,40 and they serve many different, always changing flavors. You can sit inside or outside when the weather allows it. Coffee to go is also available. The price list for the drinks you find in these pictures. I didn’t find the time to enjoy a warm coffee there but was able to try the cold brew coffee quick which I really liked. Nice on a warm day! Fräulein Jakobine Am Bassin 11 14467 Potsdam open Tuesday – Sunday / 11am – 6pm
Here are some impressions from a very calm and peaceful Paris. Basically, in August the whole French nation leaves for vacation thus many boutiques, restaurants and of course firms in the capital have closed doors. As well the whole Parisian fashion industry takes a break and will be back just in time for New York Fashion Week by the beginning of September, still working on their own Paris FW, which is the last one in row at the end of September. This break only works, because everybody takes it thus no one needs to worry that someone will wait for results – only this collaborative break can work out. All in all the French are just genius in pausing their daily routine and have a distinct sense for enjoying their lives. This once again proves that the saying “Germans live to work and French work to live” is somehow right.
On Thursday I finally met Dean from PickledThoughts. A very talented and vibrant photographer based in Berlin who was looking for a dancer to take some snaps with. The little photo-session turned out to be a super great morning in Berlin. Normally I am unhappy with dancing pictures of myself but these have truly captured my heart since they show me as a person, who I really am and what my passion is. I’m faraway from being a perfect dancer, which is certainly why I love dancing so much: you will never reach the finish line. Always find something to work on, to improve. Dancing is certainly never easy and for me just half the effort is not enough. I really push myself to a limit. Normally I train 5 times a week and on the weekend do my own home workout. Told you… always on the run. Check Deans official page for some more pictures taken by him! We will be working on more fun projects together.
“A statement necklace glams up any outfit without feeling like too much.” Tracy Reese Both necklaces are from Zara. First one is from the current collection, second one is from last season.
There is no piece in my wardrobe that makes me feel more divine than a beautiful, long summer dress on a super sunny day..! This one is kind of a challenge, since it has a rather pale pink color thus only looks well when you have a little tan but otherwise, long day dresses in summer are easy to style- just add a nice belt and some flat strappy sandals et voilà! Dress – Mango Sandals – Zara Belt – Mango Bracelet (black-silver) – Swarovski Bracelet (silver) – Thomas Sabo Ring – Swarovski
It’s an early sunny Sunday morning and I’m out snapping some ballet pictures. Choosing the right location in Potsdam actually isn’t that easy because during the summer season there are so many tourists around town, running through every picture. If you ever come to beautiful Potsdam you must visit Park Sanssouci. Want a tipp? Get up really early in the morning, head to the park and just breath in this perfect place. You will possibly only meet some joggers or dog walkers. Around every corner you will find something new – let it be a magnificent building, a bubbling fountain or some beautiful flowers. You can visit the whole park grounds for free. If you want to visit one of the buildings you need to buy a ticket. These are just a few pictures, soon there will come some more.
