In Oxford I had the absolut pleasure to enjoy a delicious breakfast at The Vaults & Garden Cafe housed in Oxford Universitie’s Old Congregation House of 1320. My boyfriend opt for the full breakfast. Meaning organic eggs, air-cured free-range bacon, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms & toasted artisan bread coasting £5.45 in total. While I decided to go for some scrambled eggs on toast (artisan bread) paying £3.75 for this delicious dish. As a drink we had a big pot of English breakfast tea which is called Leaf Tea for two if you will be looking for that on their menu (price £3.55). Besides that we also tried their delicious gluten-free and vegan chocolate brownie for £2.50 – it was a true sensation! At The Vaults & Garden you can also enjoy lunch and afternoon-tea with scones, homemadejam and clotted cream. Yesterday, we went to the Berlin Showroom and enjoyed a lovely morning with coffee, raspberry madeleines and finest Berlin fashion in Paris. Brands like Perret Schaad, Hien Le, Barre Noir, Esther Perbandt, Monya Wasilewski, Antonia Goy and Isabell de Hillerin showed their actual collections and were happy to share their individual inspirations for their pieces in a small chat.
When you read this I will probably already be in Paris with Jana enjoying some breakfast together. I’m really looking forward to this trip and the time with the Parisian girl. We will take a ton of pictures and Jana will show me all those beautiful places around the city. You can really expect some beautiful new pictures and make sure to follow us on Instagram so you are up-to-date. We will be around the Fashion Week scene too.
I got to meet Dean from PickledThoughts on a very early morning in the centre of Paris, near to Ile de la Cité. Dean has this incredible capability of capturing beautiful morning light, which you can definitely recognize in these shots from near the Seine. We hope you like the results and be sure to stay tuned for more common projects. Dress – H&M Pointe Shoes – Gaynor Minden
While in London you really need to try this place. Masala Zone is a Indian street food restaurant located all around London. I have always been at their Covent Garden location which is always full in the evening. If you want to come with a bigger group you should make a reservation a little earlier. Ever since Tara and I found this place some years ago, I come here once when I’m in London. And I always enjoy the same dish: the regular Thali with Chapatti. It’s absolutely delicious. All those different flavours are a true sensation. Hot, spicy, sweet and always fresh. You can never go wrong with this dish. It coasts about £11.00 and you are more than satisfied afterwards. As a drink I like to choose a mango lassi since the food can be quite spicy sometimes (coasting about £ 3.00). I‘m officially back from my trip to London and Oxford. And as always – I totally loved it! Next Thursday I will be leaving again. This time I’m off to Paris to visit Jana and be around Paris Fashion Week with her – it will be so much fun. Jana already made a schedule for the time I will be there which means there will be a lot of fun things to do. In London I once again enjoyed the Shake Shack burger. I first tried them in New York and then found out that they have a Shack in London too. It’s looked directly in theMarket Building and offers the same classics as in NY. However I think they are too expensive. In New York you pay with dollar which makes a whlote lot ofdifference than paying in british pounds. One classic Shake Shack burger coasts £ 5,00 – which makes about € 6,40 // In New York you pay for the same burger $ 4,95 and this makes about € 3,80. Another thing …
When I came to Paris, I was very happy to be invited to a lovely photoshooting at the Seine with Comtesse Sofia. Their scarfs are high-quality, have very fine details and are known for their exotic patterns that surely add a touch of color to your autumn wardrobe. The model I am wearing is called “Afternoon on Carmine Street“. Scarf – Comtesse Sofia Pants – Ltd Shoes – H&M
Located on the top of the new mall, Bikini Berlin, you will find this beautiful concept space. SUPERMARKET offers design pieces, fashion and some delicious food. So, not only can you enjoy some really delicious coffee, you are also able to shop some super cool pieces for your home. The other day I was able to spend some short but intense time there. The coffee was really good and therefore it was okay to pay € 3,60 for it. If you are a fan of soy milk, you can also add this to your coffee for € 0,30 on top. Next time I really want to try one of their juice cocktails e.g. Good morning Berlin (grapefruit, orange, raspberry, chili) or Vitamine Release (carrot, orange, apple, olive oil). Coasting between € 4,60 and € 6,50. For the cake I payed around € 3,80 – not cheap but really yummy. Sometime you need to treat yourself with something. They also serve lunch and dinner, but that will be worth another post. Price $$$$$ // Service ☆☆☆☆☆ …
London Fashion Week kicked-off yesterday and I was able to snap a few pictures around Somerset House again. Already last year I was runing around the scene and now again. September is somehow my London month. Mostly I look out for beautiful bages and there are some labels I simply can’t get enough of: Celiné and Mulberry! Those two are just so beautfiul and somehow all over the place.
When you read these lines I will already be on my way to… London! At least once a year I have to visit this city otherwise I would go crazy. It’s my absolut favorite city and staying there is always a get-away for me. I’m not the kind-off hanging-around-at-the-beach-girl and I even love London on rainy days. Besides that I will also be staying in Oxford for 4 days since my boyfriends starts studying there. Oxford is so beautiful too and I got some nice things planed when I’m around my old home. It will be a whole lot of fun and when I’m back there will be many new pictures. Besides this I’m there during London Fashion Week. Got one show on the schedule and will be around for some street style snaps. Check out my last years LFW experience. These pictures are all mixed together from past London trips
