Hair Couture

When you are a dancer and frequently doing performances at the theatre, you need styling products that you can rely on. Your hair is often already stressed due to many make-overs and lack of time. Mostly, you will find yourself in a situation where you have your performance earlier that night but also have some event to attend afterwards. That is when you need to create a cool hairstyle with products that do not damage your hair further but rather make it stronger, supporting the styling in the right way. Today, we took the time to try out a new hairstyle, working with products by Sebastian Professional. For our styling we made use of two products, ERUPTEK and RESINTEK. ERUPTEK has a texture that feels like lava and creates instant volume for your hair. Especially when styling curls, ERUPTEK is the perfect helper to have stronger and more long-lasting curls. We used the RESINTEK liquid wax in order to fixate the hair on one side, to get a more edgy and cool one-sided look. The product provides reliable hold but at the same time you can …

My ten favorite Places in Amsterdam

1. CT Coffee and Coconuts is the best place in Amsterdam to have breakfast. Apart from this, I love the cozy yet exotic atmosphere the place has. 2. The Skylounge Amsterdam has a panoramic view of the whole metropolis. It is the perfect place to sit on the roof terrace and enjoy some cocktails with your friends. 3. If you are a fan of architecture, a stroll through Herengracht, Keizergracht and Prinsengracht should be enough to amaze your eye. 4. I love to buy my groceries at the Albert Cuyp Market. The De Pijp area is lovely and there are many small boutiques and cafés along the way. 5. The Vondel Park is Amsterdam’s biggest green oasis. You can go there for a run or a walk and observe many happy dogs playing in the meadows. 6. The EYE film museum doesn’t only show interesting exhibitions, it is also an architectural eye-catcher with a lot of wide space and sharp edges. Have a coffee or drink on the terrace or visit the restaurant. 7. The National Opera & Ballet house at Waterlooplein …

Breakfast in Berlin: Grand Café Cappuccino

The area around Kurfürstendamm is predestined to enjoy the sun, sip a coffee and have a lovely breakfast with a good friend. The Grand Café Cappuchino, the extension of restaurant institutions like Petrocelli, is a perfect spot to do just this. Last time, we both enjoyed the fitness breakfast and it was a real treat. Definitely another favorite brunch and breakfast spot in Berlin! Lyon Photo Diary I

Lyon is a city full of French charm, zest for life and romance. It can offer everything you need for a perfect city trip: culture, culinary experiences and style. Like in many French cities you may observe the French women’s impeccable style while you stroll through the beautiful streets paved with small boutiques and cafés. The church on top of the hill offers an incredible view over the whole city, afterwards you can take a walk down through the massive park and end up in an artisan ice cream store trying one of 70 different flavors.

Lunch in Weimar: Franz & Willi

We are delighted to add a new guide to our list: #weimarguide is now officially a part of our delicate list. And to kick this off with something absolutely special we introduce to you the burger house Franz & Willi. Located in the city center you can enjoy some absolutely delicious burgers here. The price is a little higher than you would expect but for that quality and that quantity it’s definitely worth it. If you are happy to try one I can recommend the soft cheese burger (small € 8.30) or the BBQ-Bacon burger (small € 10.10). Also add some fries and try one of their exotic sauces like cranberry-pepper-mayo or wasabi-chili-garlic-mayo. Casual Coffee

Some laid-back pictures taken at a much needed coffee break some time ago. My time in Amsterdam is almost over and I am so grateful for all the experiences I made and everything I learned while I was here! Ace&Tate is one of the really cool labels that I found here in Amsterdam – all their sunglasses are unique and handmade. They offer highly dedicated customer service and their pop-up store in Amsterdam is the place where all the cool kids get their shades for the upcoming summer. Check out their website for store locations and the webshop! Leather jacket – Zara Clutch – Louis Vuitton Sunglasses – Ace&Tate

The Dutch Countryside

During my stay in Amsterdam I got the chance to experience a short trip to the Dutch country side and all I can say is that is it really beautiful. Pink, yellow and red tulip fields paint the scenery in the most beautiful colors possible. The sea breeze blows away your sorrows and the waves sooth your mind. You can reach the beach with only traveling half an hour from the exciting city of Amsterdam and I can only recommend a day trip to discover the Dutch beauty of nature.

Dinner in Amsterdam: Ron Gastrobar

Ron’s gastrobar is by far my favorite restaurant in Amsterdam. It offers a wide range of delicious small meals that I would describe as European-fusion. The design is chic and classic, with ironic art pieces on the walls and newspaper like-designed menus. You should definitely try and take different dishes at your table, giving the chance to share the different culinary experiences! The Internationalist

During my daily life I am definitely a sneakers girl. I love to walk around comfortably in my Nikes, because they usually are the best option for each weather and situation that may occur. That is also why I decided that I would like to add one really simple pair of Nikes to my selection, that I can wear with every outfit on many occasions. So when I found this pair of black-grey mid high Internationalists online I had to have them. And let me tell you a secret, I even got them a little cheaper than usual with a Cuponation voucher. They are made of a soft material mix of suede and have a rubber sole. Since they are mid height, they feel warm even if the weather is still a little colder. Altogether, one can walk, run, dance or do whatever in those Nikes and one’s feet will never get tired. Sneakers – Nike Sunglasses – Ace&Tate Top – New Look Blazer – H&M Jeans – Noisy May
