Beauty Issue: Hypoallergenic Cosmetics

Since I was small, my skin has been quite sensitive. I struggled with finding the right make-up, that suited my skin and I didn’t react to. That’s why in general I’ve always been attentive when it comes to buying make-up as well as skin care. Just in time for #sensitiveskinweek, we had the chance to check out some of Bell’s hypoallergenic products, which are especially made for tender skin. They products come in beautiful colors and make your skin feel soft but strong, when you wear them. Additionally, we can say that the price is more than fair. We opted for the primer, which is a light make-up base – especially good for the warmer days and makes sure that your light make-up stays perfect during the day. Apart from that, the long & volume mascara can be used for a more extravagant look – preferably during warm summer nights! Lastly, the lipstick has a smooth consistency, making your lips feel moist and soft throughout the day – we chose a light pink that goes well …

Touch of Pink

It’s one week left until the Moët Party Day – we’re counting! However, this weekend is going to be less glamorous… We will both be working on Saturday and hopefully enjoy the sun on Sunday a little. About this look: the dress is my new favorite summer dress, the kind that you will throw over in seconds as soon as the sun comes out and instantly feel good in! I combined it with my small everyday-bag and some summer sandals. Dress – Mango Bag – Furla Shoes – Zara

Moët Moment – Vol.II

In no more than 11 days, the next International Moët Party Day will take place in Berlin – and we are more than excited! Last year, the event could be described as „the perfect summer day“. We were drinking refreshing champagne cocktails, listened to a private Adesse performance and danced into the sunset… This year we already know, that we’ll go on a glamorous cruise and the party will take place in a villa nearby the Wannsee. But enough about us, here’s the best thing: you can also be part of the Moët Party Day 2017! Apply for your ticket here. Here’s also a short throwback to the Moët Party Day 2016…

Personal Issue: Why do we always judge each other?

Lately, I couldn’t help but think a lot about „judging“ and how it affects our lives in general. I understand, that judging means to formulate an opinion about a person, often without knowing them better or being present at the circumstances. For some reason, judging others is a sport among women, especially when Instagram is involved. Profiles are checked out, opinions are formed – a picture that is a little bit too revealing or make-up that is applied is a little bit too much, will be topic of talk in minutes! But why are we so pre-occupied with others? And why do we think, that our interpretation is always right? Honestly, I think judging others should not even be a thing. We should all keep in mind, that people are flawed (we all are) and everyone has the right to live and present themselves on Social Media in the way they want. However, when people are presenting themselves on Social Media this way, shouldn’t we also be allowed to form opinions and talk about it? …

June Inspiration

In Berlin, the last May days have been the hottest in history – we had nearly constant 30 degrees Celsius and on Tuesday even 34! Surely, we hope that this warm weather will remain throughout June as well. Apart from being sunny and warm, June is a colorful month for me. There is always a play of light and colors: the flowers blooming in the garden, a bright pink summer dress, a statement bag in yellow, an orange Aperol Spritz, a bright green salad… Let’s celebrate the colors of June this month!

Summer Trend Watch I

Mules We’ve first seen them on the runways of Prada and co. (and to be honest, couldn’t make much of this trend in the beginning). Now, they’re everywhere! In our opinions, they are the perfect combination of chic and casual, a pair of shoes fitting to many outfits and occasions. Mom Jeans Thank go for mom jeans! We couldn’t love them more. They’re super stylish, super cozy and a perfect fit (they always make a slim waist, because of the high waist cut). Mom jeans really make our daily lives more comfortable… Cross-Body Bags There’s nothing more stylish and „blogger-like“ than a cross-body bag, over a fur coat, dress, blouse, blazer… The list is endless. However, what always remains is that cross-body bags are not only practical (you have your hands free for phones, coffees, drinks…) but also an upgrade to every style. They just always look classy but effortless.

Burgundy and Nude

The bomber jacket trend is still growing strong and we can’t deny that we also love these light jackets. While they only came in black or an oliv green at the beginning, you will now be able to find them in any colour and decorated with any pattern. This dark red one is the perfect day to night version. Combined with light colours during the day and a black dress during night you can easily mix and match it. Top – H&M Jacket – H&M Pants – Zara Sandals – Mango Clutch – Furla

Furla Acero

Newest addition to my wardrobe… After wanting a chic, simple and elegant clutch that can go with every outfit, I finally decided to get a Furla Metropolis bag. It’s beige, to be more specific the color is „acero“ with some light golden details. The inside is crafted with soft, beige suede and some rivets are supporting the bag from underneath. Dear Furla Metropolis, I love your simple and chic design, that you go with every outfit and I am already looking forward to spending the summer with you!

Ballet Nails with NeoNail

For us, neat and nice nails should just be a standard in every woman’s beauty routine. However, we all know, that’s easier said than done! Especially as a dancer, nails have to endure a lot: some choreographies include dancing on the ground, rolling over, steadying oneself on one arm… Additionally, in Ballet, it’s normally not allowed to wear apparent nail colors like red or dark colors, because as a dancer you are playing a role and the wrong nail polish can destroy a whole character. When you’re a guest at a ballet performance in the theatre on the other hand, you certainly dress up and to every night out dress belongs the right nail polish. Today, in friendly cooperation with NeoNail, we would like to show you two ways of styling your hands in a perfect dancer’s style: First, as a ballet dancer in a soft rose nude, and secondly, as a spectator at the theatre, wearing a glamorous outfit! Here’s our Step By Step Guide to beautiful dancer’s nails:  Our nail look for a …

Personal Issue: Digital Detox

I think it’s only natural that a person who is quite involved in Social Media and communication will at some point ask herself, what consequences it has to be always online. I work as a Marketing & Social Media Manager and additionally also have this Blog (which I love working on and creating content for!) – you can believe me, that’s a lot of time spent on Instagram, FB & Co. Especially, with the rise of Snapchat and Instagram Stories I feel like the time people spent watching videos has increased dramatically. Last week, I read an article on Spiegel Online, which reported that a court has declared making phone calls with a mobile phone an occupational disease – since it had caused brain cancer for an Italian worker. I personally was shocked when I read the article – is that going to happen to me to if I continue spending that much time on the phone? Are these consequences for real? Apart from the health consequences, Social Media have severe consequences for our daily …
