Spring Trend Watch

It’s a new season, hence time to talk about some recent trends – we chose five trends that we consider hot right now. What are your favorites and which ones don’t you like at all? Let’s talk! Bomber Jackets To be honest, they have been around for quite a while now – still, we totally love them! They’re not only transporting us back into times of the Grease movie and coca cola advertisements but are a quick way to add some cool to every outfit. Fishnet Tights Long they’ve been associated more with CanCan dancers in Parisian night clubs than high fashion –  now they’re everywhere. Underneath ripped boyfriend jeans, suede skirts or mini dresses. See-through tops with flower embroidery Valentino was first, all others followed – now, black see-through tops with colorful flower embroidery have trickled down to commercial clothing companies. Plain T-shirts To be honest: not really a new trend but still omnipresent as ever – a plain white, black or striped t-shirt. We love, that it’s such a simple piece of clothing …

Classy Breakfast on a Rainy Morning

Looking still a bit tired but happy – the other day we went to Benedict for breakfast and it was awesome. We sipped on peach mimosas, had some vegan cashew yoghurt with granola, of course the most delicious pancakes and some bread with spreads. Afterwards, we tried to snap some outfit pictures for you despite the heavy rain. Today the sun is shining again and we wish you a super great start into the weekend! March Inspiration

It’s already March – time flies – and we’re in a pinkish, energetic mood. We already cherish every sun beam we catch and can’t wait until warmer temperatures are arriving… Apart from that, we (as always) have our hands full with blog work – we’ve some cool #berlinguide locations coming up as well as some cool outfit posts. What are your plans for spring time? Do you have any goals in mind?

February’s Favorites

It’s time for another update on our three favorite beauty products of February. Detox Mask Tonerde Absolue by L’oréal The new detox masks by L’oréal have been advertised largely. Nevertheless, I have to say that they convinced me. I try to use the mask once a week (on Sundays there is always some beauty time!) and I can feel an effect. My skin feels clearer and more balanced. Perfect Match Highlighter by L’oréal  When I was on a girl’s weekend in Palma de Mallorca this year, a friend of mine introduced me to the perks of highlighter. I’m not that much of a make-up girl in terms of concealer, foundation or rouge (I always try to let my skin breathe as much as possible!) but I couldn’t argue that a little sparkle on the cheek bone adds to a more fresh and beautiful face, instantly. Lacoste pour Elle Magnetique Eau de Parfum  I’ve been in love with the Lacoste scents since we’ve been to the Lacoste perfume event in Frankfurt two years ago. For some …

January Inspiration

We wish you a Happy New Year 2017! We hope that this year will hold new adventures, a lot of laughter, love and happy thoughts for all of you! What are your new year’s resolutions? Do you even have some or just start off fresh? We certainly have some resolutions that include treating our bodies like a temple and staying healthy and fit but still keep working as hard to achieve our dreams and goals like we did last year.

Merry & Bright Times

During the holidays and also during christmas time in general the most important thing is to take some time for your beloved ones. There are so many things, that you may do during these times, going to the christmas market, doing some shopping for presents, passing a cozy night at home with some christmas movies… The important thing is, to take the time, not matter how stressed out you might be. That’s why we spent a girl’s Christmas night with a lot of ginger bread, hot mulled wine, christmas songs and some  small presents.

Gift Guide

Holiday time after holiday time… For some reason, there are always some wardrobe standards that remain the same every season. Almost every time there is a sequin dress, there will most definitely be something velvet and of course the Christmas color red should never miss! That’s why this year’s gift guide is probably more for us, but why shouldn’t we indulge a little ourselves as well! Happy Holidays! Rose Garden Berlin

The last weeks have been quiet on Midnight Couture – life happened and we couldn’t do much about it! We have both been working on some amazing projects, some of them were more demanding and since blogging can be considered a full-time job nowadays, that’s why there has been a lack of posts! However, I’m quite proud to announce that the project I’ve been working on more than one year now is called Rose Garden – a deli & concept store in Berlin Mitte. I’ve been involved in the whole creative process of this project, being responsible for interior design, conception, marketing, social media and press work. Since a couple of days, our store set-up is finally ready and we are already opening our doors from time to time to let the team warm up. There will soon be more posts about Rose Garden and I will announce our official opening date! Until then, feel free to follow us on Instagram and Facebook to get more updates of my work – @rosegardenberlin – I happy …

Zurich Photo Diary

It has long been my dream to visit Switzerland, especially Zurich. Mainly, that was because some of my closest friends from the time when I lived in Paris, live in Zurich and I long wanted to visit them! That’s why for Halloween weekend, we headed to Zurich and discovered the city with them! Zurich is a small and calm, but very romantic and charismatic city. If the weather is nice, you can visit Uetliberg, which is a beautiful mountain on which you can view the whole city from above. You should also just plan a long walk along Zurich lake, preferably on a Sunday since everything else will be closed on that day. Another really common tradition is to have an Apero, which is kind of an Aperitif at home, where you invite friends over for some snacks and wine before heading out to dinner or a bar. Altogether, Zurich is definitely worth a visit and the local culture is a very warm and welcoming one! What To Wear for an autumn day in …
