Brunch in Berlin: Rose Garden

Newest addition to the Berlin brunch scene and personal project: Rose Garden. Rose Garden is a deli & concept store situated directly at Torstraße / Alte Schönhauser Straße. The deli offers breakfast, brunch, lunch and since a couple of weeks also dinner (we will give you another insight on that one too). It’s the perfect place to hangout with friends, your loved one or study for up-coming university exams. Brunch in Berlin: Benedict

Berlin is such a vibrant, economically strong growing city that so many place pop-up around town like mushrooms. So many young, talented people come to Berlin to follow their dreams and establish a good growing business. One of those new in-locations is Benedict, an all-day breakfast spot close to Kurfürstendamm. Their menu is filled with typical breakfast dishes such as eggs benedict, omelettes, pancakes, french toast and granola dishes. We went for: – the vegan breakfast, a chickpea pancake with onions, corn and tomatoes. Served with delicious buns and three spreads (eggplant, tahini and beetroot humus) – the classic mini pancakes with maple syrup (favorite dish from our selection) – muesli with greek yogurt, fresh fruits and honey All in all it was a nice morning. If you consider going here make sure to have some time. When we arrived we had to put our names on a waiting list (they currently don’t take any reservations) and got our table about 20/25 minutes later. We both felt a little New-York-flash-back, there you always need to …

Brunch in New York: Fiore

Fiore is a cozy Italian restaurant, serving brunch, lunch and dinner daily. We went on a Saturday to have brunch and it was awesome! We recommend the strawberry pancakes with lemon zest ricotta and the frittatas (“egg cakes” served with spinach and mozzarella). You can also go boozy and get some cocktails! Make sure to bring money along because they only except cash. Price $$$$$ // Service ☆☆☆☆☆ // Location ☆☆☆☆☆ // Taste ☆☆☆☆☆ Fiore 284 Grand Street Brooklyn, NY 11211 What To Wear to this location

Brunch in Berlin: die Stulle

I always love to discover new brunch places in my neighborhood Charlottenburg / Wilmersdorf. Recently, we discovered this place called “Die Stulle“, the German name for bread. It’s a cozy and cute place, decorated with a lot of love and the food is just awesome. We are huge fans of the pancakes and all variations of sourdough bread with different homemade spreads! They also serve delicious lunch. Price $$$$$ // Service ☆☆☆☆☆ // Location ☆☆☆☆☆ // Taste ☆☆☆☆☆ Die Stulle Carmerstraße 10 10623 Berlin What To Wear to this location

Shopping & Food in Berlin: The Store

The Store in Berlin is a unique concept, which is mixing gastronomy, co-working and shopping. It is a hang-out for startup founders and freelancers, spending their day working on their MacBooks and sipping cappuccinos. It also is a store for modern street style, decorative items, books and music. And lastly, if that wasn’t enough already, it’s a restaurant for breakfast and lunch. The lunch always consists of five different salads, that go together in a bowl and are always healthy and delicious. I can also highly recommend their cold-pressed juices, which are actually made by hand and on-site in a small juicery truck – try the Beetroot, Pineapple, Ginger! Brunch in Berlin: Roamers

Yesterday, I finally visited Berlin’s insta famous brunch café Roamers for a work meeting. I can definitely say, the hype is real! People were standing in line for breakfast on an ordinary Tuesday morning, normally I only experienced such behavior in New York City, where it’s absolutely normal to wait one hour to get some overpriced avocado toast – but that’s a different story. Roamers is small but cozy, dishes are somewhat arranged in a messy but photogenic way. However, most importantly, the food tastes great. We had the granola with fresh berries and the classic avocado toast with poached eggs and I think both tasted fabulous. Brunch in London: German Gymnasium

It is safe to say that London is heaven for brunch lovers. There are countless nice places offering the best food, whether it is the classic English breakfast, intercontinental, healthy, exotic or French… This time we went out for brunch with family and friends at the German Gymnasium, nearby King’s Cross station. The interior is super nice and the food as well. We can recommend the granola, even though it comes with only a tiny bit of yoghurt so you’ll probably have to order some extra yoghurt! Brunch in Berlin: House of small Wonder

In Williamsburg, House of Small Wonder was one of my favorite cafés because they make the best matcha latte in town! That’s why I was super happy to discover that another House of Small Wonder opened in Berlin some time ago! I love that the place is super cozy and instantly transports me back to my times in Williamsburg. Go there for all day brunch and lunch in a nice atmosphere. Brunch in New York: Jack’s Wife Freda

New York has so many good brunch places – today we tried another. Jack’s Wife Freda is situated in New York’s cool West Village, on Lafayette Street and a total must for brunch fans like us. The menu serves classic american dishes with mediterranean influences. The atmosphere is familiar and everyone is extremely friendly. I also liked the simple but chic american bistro-like interior.
