The Monkey Bar is another hotspot situated in the west of Berlin. It has a gorgeous view through all it’s wide glass windows and is aptly named „Monkey Bar“, since you are able to observe the monkeys of the Berlin Zoo from up there. The Monkey bar serves delicious drinks (try the Gin Basil Smash or the homemade lemonade) and some bar snacks like sweet potato fries or Caesar salad. However, here’s a fair warning: the Monkey Bar has been recommended in many travel guides thus it tends to be really crowded on weekends and nights in general. So either decide to go early or schedule a bit of waiting time – the view and atmosphere is worth it. Berlin has a new hotspot – the Grace Bar and Restaurant at the Hotel Zoo. The Grace opened its doors 10. January 2015 and offers a „Drinking and Dining“ concept that unites foreign and traditional flavors into an exceptional culinary experience. Apart from the superior quality of Grace’s food and drinks, the location has a unique atmosphere and interior design, created by well-known designer Dayna Lee from New York/ LA. We can warmly recommend the excellent „Whiskey Sour“ or „Wild Berry Punch“ (non-alcoholic and made with fresh wild berries). check availability and book a room here Hotel Zoo Kurfürstendamm 25 10719 Berlin What To Wear to this location

My boyfriend took me to this place when I was in Oxford in November. And I have to say: I loved it! The House is a bar located in the city center of Oxford. You get there through a narrow alley and will find an absolutely stylish place. The interior is classic and was also location to a Vogue photo shooting. Besides that it was listed on Elle magazines Top 25 Bars in 2010. Best time to go there is during their happy hour which runs from 5pm to 9pm Sunday to Thursday and 5pm to 8pm Friday and Saturday. Cocktails start from £3.95 during that time. „Life is too short to miss out on the beautiful things like a double cheeseburger.“ Channing Tatum February has gone so fast. Of course it’s always the shortest month of the year but this time it was just too quick. Many projects and University things took up our time which is why we weren’t able to post that regularly (sorry for that). Today however a new, exciting month starts. Our University work is nearly finished which means we are ready to take-off. March once again has become a month of traveling. We both are heading to some amazing places around the globe and it will be a lot of fun to share the pictures with you. Therefore this months inspiration is turned out to be get-away post with the one or other indulgence. We are thinking of denim pieces such as the classical jeans or shirt but with a wasted twist. Some comfy shoes are key for traveling and since the weather is already in the spring mood heavy boots are maybe no longer needed. Sometimes it’s such a pleasure to enjoy a really …
In the post before this one we have showed you some inspirations for a Birthday decoration or also usable for any other party you want to throw. Here however comes the table and house decoration of Jana’s birthday bash. If you want to have a special event make sure you keep an eye on the details because those certainly stay in mind afterwards. It’s always a good idea to stick to a colour or different shade of the same colour. When you have decided on that one you need to check some of your favorite decor or living stores or online shops for matching pieces. Don’t over do it! If you have some highlights it’s good but you don’t need a whole bunch of them.
Somehow, autumn time means also birthday time for us! There are so many birthdays coming up shortly, it is an endless row of parties! We, as creative minds of course like to discover latest trends in birthday decoration and funny, innovative ways to celebrate with style. Here’s some inspiration!
We (again) enjoyed this lovely evening together with our girls. It’s just the best company to spend time with. You somehow really get into this holiday feeling.
Girl’s evenings/nights together are just the most amount of fun. So we had this little BBQ at Jana’s house, well garden to me more precise. Chicken wings, baguette, fresh salad, watermelon, mousse de chocolate, raspberry cupcakes and bowl full of Sangria. Promised to be fun!
