Halloween Special Pt. 3 – Bon Appétit

And here it is! Our third and last Halloween Special post. You may have noticed that it’s just me in all the this years Halloween pictures. Sadly, Jana got sick a few days before the photoshoot and wasn’t able to take part. Health always comes first and therefore we figured it was the right decision to keep her out of it and cuddled-up in bed. This set of pictures was my favorite one since I loved the setting, my dress and the theater blood. Actually the first time I tried this red liquid. What’s more to say? Happy Halloween!!! Dress – Red Valentino Theater blood – DM Pictures by Johannes F. Räbel from JFRcreatives Location: Wintergarten Varieté Berlin (high massiv thank you once again!)

Halloween Special Pt. 1 – Esprit

Let us kick-off our Halloween special with more decent pictures since the others are.. let’s see.. a little more bloody. Setting for our this years special was the Wintergarten Varieté in Berlin (a huge big thank you for giving us this opportunity). The photographer was Johannes from JFRcreatives who once again did an amazing job (massiv thank you – always fun working with you). Over the next couple of days, leading to Halloween on the 31st of October, we will share posts dedicated to this spooky time of year just because we love it so much and hope to inspire you a little with our ideas. Halloween in Paris

Since we have a little other situation this year, meaning one of us being in Paris and the other in Berlin, we have decided to create a different Halloween Special for you! Therefore we have put together a little collection of pictures showing you two different sides of “Halloween” in Paris. A night out with some friends and a day trip to a special place. We have to admit, we love the movie Phantom of the Opera staring Emmy Rossum and Gerard Butler. And somehow we ended up making a little tour á la Photo. This also brought us to the Pére Lachaise Cemetery and took our breath away. It really isn’t the normal cemetery you see everyday and somehow, as strange as it may sound, we were fascinated by it. Happy Halloween everyone!

Witchcraft

Here comes our this years Halloween Special for you. The pictures were taken by Michael from Reinhardt&Sommer with help of JFRcreatives and Klemens. We were thinking of witches and witchcraft this year but in a modern way. Since the earliest human cultures the belief in and the practice of magic has been a present issue. And even today it has an important role in religious and medical areas all around the globe. Most of the time witchcraft has been contacted to the Devil and was stigmatized as something evil. Especially in Protestant Europe witch-hunts became an important matter and many women were burnt on the stake. Approximately between 40,000 and 60,000 executions have taken place between 1480 and 1750. Witch hunts continue to this day. The fascination for the supernatural is still very present and has reached a high fan level and publicity with the Harry Potter books and movies. J.K. Rowling made it possible to see witchcraft from a different perspective and it hit the nerve of the time right-away. And who knows what comes …

Happy Halloween!

Now we finally reached THE DAY! Happy Halloween everyone! This is a little shooting we did for you the other day together with Michael (thanks for that!) from Reinhardt&Sommer photography (like!). We hope you will have an amazing day with a lot of spooky and scary things. We are having a little Halloween dinner at Vanessa’s house and enjoy the time with some friends.
