Last weekend was a long weekend, due to the public holiday of 3rd October on Tuesday. So, we managed to take some pictures in the beautiful Sanssoucci Park, which is covered in orange and red leaves and looking a lot like autumn! Boots – Clarks Coat – Cortefiel Jeans – Noisy May Scarf – H&M vintage
These pictures can’t hide it anymore: Autumn is here. But it can be such a beautiful season with all those colored leaves, long walks through the park, cuddly scarfs and a cinnamon spiced coffee. What do you like to do during some sunny Autumn days? We also took the chance to snap some outfit pictures. Next week university life starts for me again and I’m actually not that motivated to go back to the classes. Somehow I love to work for new projects and enjoy some free time on the weekend, not thinking about reading texts and writing essays. But I’m looking forward to see all my study mates again and chat to them. It’s always fun to hear and see what they have been up to during our “free” time. Summer so over so fast and it seem surreal to be back to kind-off normal daily business soon. Coat – Zara Off-shoulder shirt – H&M Skirt – Zara Sneakers – Adidas Stan Smith
Autumn is one of the seasons we really love. The light (when the weather allows it) is so magical when the sun goes down, the leaves are beautifully colored and cuddling up on the sofa becomes casual. Oh and don’t forget the hot chocolate here. Plus, Halloween is coming our way. Excitement level? High! And we guess no other month than October represents autumn so accurate. We therefore have put together a little inspiration post for you, featuring our favorite pieces and states for this month. The weather is changing daily, the spices of our food gets a make-over (craving for that pumpkin-ginger soup) and our wardrobe becomes more comfortable.
The Trenchcoat has probably easily became one of our favorite fashion pieces ever. Always looking timeless and chic, you can wear this piece to any occasion. Today we would like to share some various outfit combinations with you. The trenchcoat Jana is wearing, is from the label Club Monaco and she got it two years ago during our time in New York. It was love on first sight and since then has been a loyal partner. When buying a trench, you really got to watch the length of it. There are so many different lengths and not every length suits every body typ. And who wants to look lost in their trench? No one! So, when you go out and want to buy one, make sure the store offers various lengths. Or you head to different stores. Try a long, middle length and short one in order to see which suits you the best. Next step: color. Of course beige is the classic color for a trench and when you want to invest a little …
For many this probably is not applicable but I think winter is a beautiful season. Many people are a little touchy when you start talking about this season but somehow it’s just this special time of the year. Christmas seems just around the corner and everyone starts to buy their presents. The days are getting shorter and the nights longer (one aspect I also don’t favor that much), a hot chocolate becomes more enjoyable, cookies and cinnamon rolls unfold their true flavor. Thick coats are coming out again, cozy hats and long scarfs grace our necks. I for example absolutely love getting into the dancing studio during that time of the year. Darker shades are moving into our closets such as a midnight blue, a dusted grey or a rouge noir (make sure to check out the new Chanel beauty collection!). Whereas in Germany, October is most definitely the month of autumn, here in New York City we experience a weather phenomenon called “Indian Summer”. Apparently, it is still warm and moist, which is quite odd for a European. We are already tuned to cozy sweaters, curling up on the sofa with a good book and having coffee in a romantic coffee place when it’s already getting dark outside on late afternoons. But we do not want to complain! It is certainly nice to have some more warm and sunny days, before the big winter chill eventually arrives. What are our plans for this autumn? We definitely continue to work hard to improve our blog and we look forward to give you more information about the changes coming! A little shopping list [show_shopthepost_widget id=”1446976″]
Autumn has arrived in Paris and it makes this city even more beautiful than it already is… We are celebrating the season traditionally with some cozy sweaters, my favorite pair of SOFTCLOX and many long walks around the city. Shoes – Softclox Knitwear – Gold&Silver
This month is all about mind, body and soul. It’s just the right time to relaxe a little before the real Christmas madness starts next month. Take some time off and give yourself the one or other spa treat at home, cuddle into a cozy sweater, grab a tea and read a good book. Outside is getting colder so make sure you keep focused on you and your health – a flu just comes so easily. We are thinking of fuzzy socks, a warm grey sweater, a really comfy pair of jogging pants, oversized beige cardigans and some cute ballet flats in grey, black or nude.
While in Paris a month ago we also meet lovely Fiona during Fashion Week. We took the opportunity to take some pictures in the Tuileries Garden. The weather was absolutely marvelous! Just look at this bright colours in the background. A true sensation for snapping some pictures. Dress – Fionas own creation Boots – Doc Martens
Good Morning dear Readers! Here are some more picture from another shooting with Comtesse Sofia, which I did in Paris. Check out their website for lovely scarfs, which embody the Parisian style and are the perfect accessories for this season.
