I love to discover new little boutiques and shops in my neighborhood. One store that I recently stumbled across is Schee, located in Bleibtreustraße. So we went to check it out last weekend. The store is a lovely mix of interior and decoration accessories, cards and books, prints and textiles. In my opinion one of the addresses to go for when you’re searching for a present for a friend or family member! We really liked how elaborate and carefully selected the selection of items was – every piece was special! They also have another store in Berlin located at Rosenthaler Straße (close to the underground station Rosenthaler Platz, Mitte). We definitely want to visit that one too. We wish you a Happy New Year 2017! We hope that this year will hold new adventures, a lot of laughter, love and happy thoughts for all of you! What are your new year’s resolutions? Do you even have some or just start off fresh? We certainly have some resolutions that include treating our bodies like a temple and staying healthy and fit but still keep working as hard to achieve our dreams and goals like we did last year.
The last weeks have been quiet on Midnight Couture – life happened and we couldn’t do much about it! We have both been working on some amazing projects, some of them were more demanding and since blogging can be considered a full-time job nowadays, that’s why there has been a lack of posts! However, I’m quite proud to announce that the project I’ve been working on more than one year now is called Rose Garden – a deli & concept store in Berlin Mitte. I’ve been involved in the whole creative process of this project, being responsible for interior design, conception, marketing, social media and press work. Since a couple of days, our store set-up is finally ready and we are already opening our doors from time to time to let the team warm up. There will soon be more posts about Rose Garden and I will announce our official opening date! Until then, feel free to follow us on Instagram and Facebook to get more updates of my work – @rosegardenberlin – I happy …
Recently, I’ve busied myself quite a lot with interior design and everything that comes with it. Not only on a professional level but also since I finally settled in Berlin and had lots of fun to search for stylish finds for my own apartment! Of course, I love some nice nude, rosé colors but also a colorful carpet can make a huge difference. In my opinion, it’s also very important to buy some nice frames for all your photographs of family and friends. That is what really turns an apartment into a home. Also, I am a fan of Voluspa candles – their scent is just delicious and I always light one in my hallway – it instantly makes guest feel welcome and creates a nice atmosphere.
