Next Stop: Amsterdam

This week it is already time for my next stop: Amsterdam. I have always wanted to live some time in this wonderful city and now the time has come that my dream comes true. Amsterdam is full of creative, easy-going people and offers a perfect working environment for me to pursue my studies. I am looking forward to sharing some insider tips and streetstyle from the city with you!

Drinks in Paris: Milord

Milord is a small and rustic but very cozy bar in the Montmartre area. It serves delicious draft Pelforth beer and also nice cocktails – especially during Happy Hour there is probably no place in Paris that sells more good value drinks! Brunch in Paris: Buvette

Buvette is my favorite place in whole Paris to have a traditional and nice brunch with some good friends or family. The place is cozy and traditional and offers high quality breakfast dishes that will satisfy brunch-lovers from all around the world with typical French dishes and international delicacies. I personally can highly recommend the “Granola with fresh red fruits” and “Brouilles Jambon”, which is just pure deliciousness on a plate! Coffee in Paris: KB Café

The KB Café is one of my favorite “work-Cafés” – In this case that means that I can work on my projects with free Wifi, a double shot latte and some nice rhubarb crumble or carrot cake. Apart from this the place offers most delicious French quiches with salad and some freshly pressed juices. The KB is as well situated in a very nice and quiet neighborhood, sometimes there is even an Antique market just outside KB’s window. The Simple Look

Sometimes, it’s just time for a very simple black and white outfit. This one is clearly upgraded by this beautiful piece of jewelry made by Sence Copenhagen. The “Nora” necklace is made of worn silver and has a grey agate stone. We took these pictures together in September when the weather was still warm. Crazy Horse Paris

When you’re in Paris you need to try something different. So, on Friday evening we headed to le Crazy Horse de Paris. An absolutely stunning show! Not many people have heard of this but you should certainly get to know it. “Femininity, creativity, audacity … The most avant-garde cabaret in Paris”. Amazing costumes and stunning performances. Those ladies are absolutely beautiful and it’s so much fun to watch them. However you have to expect a lot of nudity since they are doing burlesque performances. I got to meet Dean from PickledThoughts on a very early morning in the centre of Paris, near to Ile de la Cité. Dean has this incredible capability of capturing beautiful morning light, which you can definitely recognize in these shots from near the Seine. We hope you like the results and be sure to stay tuned for more common projects. Dress – H&M Pointe Shoes – Gaynor Minden
