Staying in Weimar: Design Apartments Weimar

When thinking of Weimar you instantly think of Goethe and Schiller, theatre and Bauhaus. It’s this typical city nearly every school class visits and where you find a lot of sightseers. But besides all these cultural highlights, Weimar simply is a perfect little weekend get-away. And therefore you of course need a cool place to stay. Of course you can choose on of those many hotels there but when you are looking for something more personal this is the right place for you. Design Apartments Weimar are two holiday apartments you can rent during your stay in Weimar. The owners offer a big and a smaller flat furnished with interior design pieces from former Bauhaus University graduates who get the chance to present their pieces to the general public. Besides this you will be able to find design classics such as the Eames Plastic Side Chair. But more important is, that you can buy the design pieces straight away. When staying in the apartment you somehow are in a showroom where you can find pieces for your own flat. The owners of the apartments offer …

Make me feel the warm, make me feel the cold.

Yesterday evening a spend a lovely girls night with some of our friends. We had homemade pizza, a delicious cucumber/feta salad, fresh melon with ham and cool drinks at a friends place. After this delicious dinner we headed to the cinema and watched Magic Mike XXL. Honest opinion? The first one was better. We missed the story somehow. Nevertheless the evening with the girls was a sensation and the weather was absolutely amazing! However the outfit combination here was taken on Thursday before our dinner at the Grace restaurant. Make sure to take a look at our post about this place! Shirt – H&M Blazer – Zara Sandals – Zara Necklace – Sence Copenhagen

Lunch in Berlin: Le Faubourg

Last week we enjoyed a fabulous lunch at “Le Faubourg”, belonging to the Sofitel Berlin Kurfürstendamm. The restaurant has a loyal base of guests for their weekly lunch, an institution in the Berlin city west. In the evening the restaurant has adopted a concept of sharing many small dishes as starters. We both are huge fans of this eating concept, since it is so much nicer to experience many different tastes than only one! Additionally, the dinner gets a lot more social and interactive. Mostly, “Le Faubourg’s” dishes are inspired by the French cuisine with modern influences. You can find their menu here. The lunch menu changes every week. Price $$$$$ // Service ☆☆☆☆☆ // Location ☆☆☆☆☆ // Taste ☆☆☆☆☆ Le Faubourg Augsburger Str. 41 10789 Berlin What To Wear to this location

It brightens up every outfit combination and you get an instant feeling of freshness. We got so many plans ahead of us this and next week that we will be having a lot of content to share with you in the next couple of weeks.. no months! Lunch in Weimar: Franz & Willi

We are delighted to add a new guide to our list: #weimarguide is now officially a part of our delicate list. And to kick this off with something absolutely special we introduce to you the burger house Franz & Willi. Located in the city center you can enjoy some absolutely delicious burgers here. The price is a little higher than you would expect but for that quality and that quantity it’s definitely worth it. If you are happy to try one I can recommend the soft cheese burger (small € 8.30) or the BBQ-Bacon burger (small € 10.10). Also add some fries and try one of their exotic sauces like cranberry-pepper-mayo or wasabi-chili-garlic-mayo. Dinner in Amsterdam: Ron Gastrobar

Ron’s gastrobar is by far my favorite restaurant in Amsterdam. It offers a wide range of delicious small meals that I would describe as European-fusion. The design is chic and classic, with ironic art pieces on the walls and newspaper like-designed menus. You should definitely try and take different dishes at your table, giving the chance to share the different culinary experiences! The Internationalist

During my daily life I am definitely a sneakers girl. I love to walk around comfortably in my Nikes, because they usually are the best option for each weather and situation that may occur. That is also why I decided that I would like to add one really simple pair of Nikes to my selection, that I can wear with every outfit on many occasions. So when I found this pair of black-grey mid high Internationalists online I had to have them. And let me tell you a secret, I even got them a little cheaper than usual with a Cuponation voucher. They are made of a soft material mix of suede and have a rubber sole. Since they are mid height, they feel warm even if the weather is still a little colder. Altogether, one can walk, run, dance or do whatever in those Nikes and one’s feet will never get tired. Sneakers – Nike Sunglasses – Ace&Tate Top – New Look Blazer – H&M Jeans – Noisy May

Sweet Treat in Berlin: Der Cupcakeladen

During the extend 1st of May weekend I took the chance with a friend to try a cupcake store in Berlin called Der Cupcakeladen. I already heard from the place and was curious on trying it. A small place with a cute, girly interior is the location you will step into. Their product range is changing daily and you will be able to choose from typical cupcakes and even vegan ones. The taste of the cupcakes was fine but in my opinion not outstanding. A big one costs 2.70 € and a Mini one 1.50 € – a fair price range. Lunch in Erfurt: Mundlandung

Thanks to a one day trip to Erfurt I had the chance to try this cozy place. Mundlandung is a delicatessen store and bistro destination at the same time. The food is fresh and absolutely delicious. The two dishes you see in the pictures are part of their daily menu. In the morning they also serve breakfast, if you should be looking for something like that. The dishes aren’t that cheap but the quality is price matching. Price $$$$$ // Service ☆☆☆☆☆ // Location ☆☆☆☆☆ // Taste ☆☆☆☆☆ Mundlandung Krämerbrücke 28 99084 Erfurt What To Wear to this location

Drinks in Amsterdam: Mata Hari Bar

Mata Hari is a real insider’s tip in Amsterdam. The bar is hidden within the red light district and you wouldn’t expect such a cozy and comfortable atmosphere considering the surroundings. The interior consists of vintage furniture and many different antique details, building a casual hang-out setting. Upstairs is the restaurant, offering dishes with an exotic twist. Downstairs in the bar, a extensive drinks menu is awaiting, featuring classics like Moscow mule, different gin tonics or beers. The place is open daily for lunch, dinner and drinks and offers fair trade products whenever it is possible.
