♫ Two Door Cinema Club – Do You Want It All? ♫
Strolling around town can be really exhausting and therefore I have chose an easy laid-back look in order to get through the day. Comfy shoes, soft sweater and a pair of printed pants was just the right choice.
Walking through St James’s Park was just the perfect thing to do on such a lovely day in London. The little squirrels were all over the place and the sun was shining through the leaves of the trees. However you somehow got the feeling of autumn and I was lucky to have taken my coat with me on this trip.
♫ Ren Harvieu – Open Up Your Arms ♫ I’m back from my four-days-London-trip with my boyfriend and had the most amazing time over there. It’s always a good idea to visit London in my opinion since it is full of inspiration and new ideas. And it always feels like coming home. Next week we will start at University, new stage of life for both of us.
♫ Birdy – People Help The People ♫ We enjoyed a coffee together at Starbucks and watched the Burberry Fashion Show via live stream (loved it!). Did you watch it? Guess we drifted away a bit while checking through the shop-right-from-the-runway-part. Just dreaming about such an electric trench coat in one of those super cool colours – argh. Big thank you to Anne from Hallhuber for sending us a collar each 🙂
The Berliner Liste Aftershow Party took place in one of Berlin’s most famous clubs. The Tresor is commonly known for its electro and techno music.
Central Park is not only essential to survive for the people, but also for many different kinds of animals. We took a stroll at the aptly named turtle pond- fascinated by how trusting the turtles were to people. More than sweet! We also loved the café beside the lake which was so vibrant and most romantic.
The Central Park seems to be the air that people in New York are breathing, it belongs to this city. It is an oasis, an adventure and without a doubt the most exciting and diverse park which I have ever visited. Especially in summer one recognizes the meaning this park has for the habitants of New York. Whether it is a place to spend one’s lunch break, or to sunbath, to play, to laugh, to stroll, to relax.
Last week we were invited to the Opening Party of the art fair Berliner Liste (thanks to PEO). We got a glimpse of the work presented there (did you see them on Twitter?!) and enjoyed some techno sounds at the Tresor Club which is located in the same building. We sadly couldn’t snap some more pictures of the art, since it wasn’t allowed to take pictures.
The Highlight of our trip to the US was definitely our trip to Coney Island. It is about one hour away from the city but it is very worth it. We went for a swim, did some sunbathing and of course we had to try the Coney Island ice-cream. Our day was just mighty fine.
