It’s the season to be jolly and bright. Nevertheless I have been thinking about these festive days and what makes them so special to me. Because way to often we forget how special these days are and why we actually like to celebrate them. Christmas is a Christian feast on which they celebrate the birth of Jesus on the 25th of December. On the evening of the 24th the people start to celebrate with dinners, worship services and exchanging gifts. It’s a tradition which has become far more commercial and is not only celebrated by Christians anymore. I for myself have no religion. My parents have been baptized as Christian and evangelist but decided to let us decide for ourselves if we want to enter a church or follow a certain confession. I never felt really secure with either of them which is why I decided not to be baptized. But this is another topic I don’t want to illustrate now. My dad worked for the German military and we had to move cities quite …
Working with the squad from COTY is just always a joy. The last two years we have been a part of this amazing team (find a list with at the end of this post with the past events) and just loved all their events, surprises and cooperation offers. So, before telling you a little more about yesterdays event, I would like to take the chance and say thank you! The last two years the Christmas events have been held in Hamburg, which always brought me back to this lovely town. A town I somehow call home too since my Mum was born here. However this time they chose Berlin as their city, which also made me really happy and excited. Yesterday a bunch of bloggers and influencers headed to Delight Rental Studios in Berlin in order to spend a fun day together. The theme of this years event was “GOLD” and the main part was a photoshoot with tow different styles, in two different settings. My first look for the Bruno Banani section was the …
Headspace PR and COTY simply know how to get you in the Christmas mood. Last week Friday I took the chance to head to Hamburg in order to attend their traditionell Christmas Blogger workshop. The venue was beautifully decorated with Christmas trees, the smell of Apple crumble was in the air and everyone seemed merry&bright. Through the afternoon we worked on some perfume themed DIY Christmas gifts, had some coffee and enjoyed the company of fellow bloggers. The perfumes mainly focused on were Mexx, Playboy, Bruno Banani, James Bond 007 and David Beckham. A big thank you to COTY and the Headspace PR team for inviting us once again. We always love joining you on such special events.
This certainly is becoming a Christmas tradition. Each year I collect pictures for the Dance Academy Christmas Calendar and in the end I love to share my favorite ones with you. If you want to see the whole calendar head over to the official Facebook page.
Last week we travelled to Hamburg for a day to participate in the annual blogger Xmas workshop designed around the P&G prestige perfumes. We enjoyed some DIY workshops that included designing our own christmas tree balls, gift boxes and cupcakes – all inspired by different perfume lines, namely James Bond 007, Christina Aguilera and Bruno Banani. It was a super fun day and really got us into the right mood for Christmas. Thanks for having us Headspace PR! Christmas Shopping – ho ho ho
We all know what Holiday season sometimes can turn into – a stressful marathon of dressing up appropriate to every occasion possible. That is why we thought it would be nice to have a little guide what to wear for different festivities during Holiday season! Firstly, we thought a cozy sweater with a statement necklace and leggings would fit perfectly to a Christmas Brunch among friends and family. Sweater – Mint&Berry (found on Zalando) Necklace – H&M

What is more, this year we have been supported by numerous people and we are very thankful for everything! Thanks to the marvelous photographers team of Johannes Räbel and Reinhardt&Sommer for gorgeous shots and the right equipment. Thank you very much Zalando for providing us with the latest fashion for the shoot. Last but not least a big thank you to Calma Hotel in Berlin Mitte for the location! Already last year I did a Dance Christmas Calendar for the Dance Academy we are dancing and training with. Since it was such a great success we somehow made it to a little tradition now. So, here are now some of the pictures from our this years calendar. If you want to see the rest check Dance Academy Marita Erxleben on Facebook. Picture number 4 and 8 are taken by Johannes from JFRcreatives because I’m in the pictures myself. Thanks for that man.
In the post before this one we have showed you some inspirations for a Birthday decoration or also usable for any other party you want to throw. Here however comes the table and house decoration of Jana’s birthday bash. If you want to have a special event make sure you keep an eye on the details because those certainly stay in mind afterwards. It’s always a good idea to stick to a colour or different shade of the same colour. When you have decided on that one you need to check some of your favorite decor or living stores or online shops for matching pieces. Don’t over do it! If you have some highlights it’s good but you don’t need a whole bunch of them.
