Madison Avenue is the perfect counterpart to 5th Avenue- it is far calmer and there are more interesting shops between the big brands, in my opinion. Somehow, one associates a large city with bad weather all the time – New York showed me that this is a failure. New York City in the summer is a truly wonderful experience. The city is full of different oases which the New Yorker built up for themselves – I will show you some more of them in time – let’s start with some city impressions first.

When you live in on area you normally don’t do much sight-seeing because you somehow think you know enough. Which really isn’t the case! Brandenburg, yes I mean this seriously, has some really beautiful places around here and it took some time to realize that.
