Crazy Horse Paris

When you’re in Paris you need to try something different. So, on Friday evening we headed to le Crazy Horse de Paris. An absolutely stunning show!

Not many people have heard of this but you should certainly get to know it. “Femininity, creativity, audacity … The most avant-garde cabaret in Paris”.

Amazing costumes and stunning performances. Those ladies are absolutely beautiful and it’s so much fun to watch them. However you have to expect a lot of nudity since they are doing burlesque performances.

PFW S/S 2015: Dior Show

Fashion Week madness in Paris.

One week ago we decided to take a look at the outfits in front of the Dior fashion show at Cour Carrée du Louvre. Totally crazy! People screaming and shouting, running and gliding. When Anne Dello Russo came she walked directly into our direction and when Dakota Fanning arrived everyone went crazy. I’m not sure how I got the picture of her but you can see it here (Nr. 6).

Also Coco Rocha and Natalia Vodianova walked by with their bodyguards. In the end Marion Cotillard came who we sadly missed since we were so hungry we had to find something for lunch. Which meant, ending up in a little backyard park with super delicious falafel.

Breakfast in Oxford: Vaults & Garden Cafe

In Oxford I had the absolut pleasure to enjoy a delicious breakfast at The Vaults & Garden Cafe housed in Oxford Universitie’s Old Congregation House of 1320.

My boyfriend opt for the full breakfast. Meaning organic eggs, air-cured free-range bacon, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms & toasted artisan bread coasting £5.45 in total. While I decided to go for some scrambled eggs on toast (artisan bread) paying £3.75 for this delicious dish.

As a drink we had a big pot of English breakfast tea which is called Leaf Tea for two if you will be looking for that on their menu (price £3.55). Besides that we also tried their delicious gluten-free and vegan chocolate brownie for £2.50 – it was a true sensation!

At The Vaults & Garden you can also enjoy lunch and afternoon-tea with scones, homemadejam and clotted cream.

Soft Lights in Paris

I got to meet Dean from PickledThoughts on a very early morning in the centre of Paris, near to Ile de la Cité.

Dean has this incredible capability of capturing beautiful morning light, which you can definitely recognize in these shots from near the Seine.

We hope you like the results and be sure to stay tuned for more common projects.

Dinner in London: Masala Zone

While in London you really need to try this place. Masala Zone is a Indian street food restaurant located all around London. I have always been at their Covent Garden location which is always full in the evening. If you want to come with a bigger group you should make a reservation a little earlier.

Ever since Tara and I found this place some years ago, I come here once when I’m in London. And I always enjoy the same dish: the regular Thali with Chapatti. It’s absolutely delicious. All those different flavours are a true sensation. Hot, spicy, sweet and always fresh. You can never go wrong with this dish. It coasts about £11.00 and you are more than satisfied afterwards. As a drink I like to choose a mango lassi since the food can be quite spicy sometimes (coasting about £ 3.00).

London Photo Diary

I‘m officially back from my trip to London and Oxford. And as always – I totally loved it! Next Thursday I will be leaving again. This time I’m off to Paris to visit Jana and be around Paris Fashion Week with her – it will be so much fun. Jana already made a schedule for the time I will be there which means there will be a lot of fun things to do.

In London I once again enjoyed the Shake Shack burger. I first tried them in New York and then found out that they have a Shack in London too. It’s looked directly in theMarket Building and offers the same classics as in NY. However I think they are too expensive. In New York you pay with dollar which makes a whlote lot ofdifference than paying in british pounds. One classic Shake Shack burger coasts £ 5,00 – which makes about € 6,40 // In New York you pay for the same burger $ 4,95 and this makes about € 3,80.

Another thing I discoverd during my stay in London was the weekly Food Market held at Covent Garden. Every Thursday between 11am and 7pm you can enjoy some really delicious stuff there. And even if you don’t want to buy anything, just walking through the stands is a true delight.

Camion Red at the Seine

When I came to Paris, I was very happy to be invited to a lovely photoshooting at the Seine with Comtesse Sofia.

Their scarfs are high-quality, have very fine details and are known for their exotic patterns that surely add a touch of color to your autumn wardrobe.

The model I am wearing is called “Afternoon on Carmine Street“.

Coffee in Berlin: SUPERMARKET

Located on the top of the new mall, Bikini Berlin, you will find this beautiful concept space. SUPERMARKET offers design pieces, fashion and some delicious food. So, not only can you enjoy some really delicious coffee, you are also able to shop some super cool pieces for your home.

The other day I was able to spend some short but intense time there. The coffee was really good and therefore it was okay to pay € 3,60 for it. If you are a fan of soy milk, you can also add this to your coffee for € 0,30 on top. Next time I really want to try one of their juice cocktails e.g. Good morning Berlin (grapefruit, orange, raspberry, chili) or Vitamine Release (carrot, orange, apple, olive oil). Coasting between € 4,60 and € 6,50. For the cake I payed around € 3,80 – not cheap but really yummy. Sometime you need to treat yourself with something.

They also serve lunch and dinner, but that will be worth another post.

LFW S/S 2015: Photo Diary

London Fashion Week kicked-off yesterday and I was able to snap a few pictures around Somerset House again. Already last year I was runing around the scene and now again. September is somehow my London month.

Mostly I look out for beautiful bages and there are some labels I simply can’t get enough of: Celiné and Mulberry! Those two are just so beautfiul and somehow all over the place.
