Prinsengracht

Amsterdam style is rather laid back and tends to be practical. The ultimate test for each clothing item here is to determine whether you are able to ride a bike with it. That is why I mostly stick to comfy clothes and don’t struggle with complex outfits during daily life. Bag – Liebeskind Boots – Zara Leather jacket – Zara

Coffee in Amsterdam: Papeneiland

I am just gonna say it: Café Papeneiland serves (in my opinion) the best apple pie in the whole world. I have never tried any comparable apple pie in my life. The café is the most earthy and comfy place I know in Amsterdam so far and it is perfect to spend a sunny day, watching the boats running through the canals, drinking coffee and chatting with your friends. Lunch in Amsterdam: Daily at Magna Plaza

The Daily at Magna Plaza is a nice place to have a small snack or coffee break between shopping in Amsterdam’s most beautiful shopping center. They offer fresh smoothies, juices and paninis of the day. Also, the café belongs to Sissy Boy, an interior and clothing shop with a cool but feminine style. First Impressions of Amsterdam

My first days in Amsterdam have been a little cold and rainy, but nevertheless simply beautiful. I am already in love with this city’s architecture, it’s cute little cafés, the delicious stroopwafels, the dreamy canals, lovely people and laid-back atmosphere. I am looking forward to seeing the seasons change and to witness spring in Amsterdam, I am sure there is nothing more beautiful. Get the perfect city bag here.

Next Stop: Amsterdam

This week it is already time for my next stop: Amsterdam. I have always wanted to live some time in this wonderful city and now the time has come that my dream comes true. Amsterdam is full of creative, easy-going people and offers a perfect working environment for me to pursue my studies. I am looking forward to sharing some insider tips and streetstyle from the city with you!

Amsterdam

I always wanted to go to Amsterdam and after the reopening of the Rijksmuseum the desire to travel there grew even more. When we, my boyfriend and I, booked the flight tickets it was done deal and I enjoyed every minute in this city. Beautiful architecture, cute little streets and inspiration everywhere you go. If you want to enjoy a short trip over the weekend Amsterdam should be one of your first destinations on your list.

Welcome to Amsterdam

Last weekend I visited Amsterdam for the first time ever and I have to admit that I loved it from the first moment on. The city is the epitome of cosiness, light-heartedness and sweetness. I have never seen so many small boutiques with so exquisite and individual clothes of brands that don’t cost the world! The small cafés are more than welcoming, just as the people. Unfortunately, I had only one and a half day in the city, since I had another appointment to seize, but I will maybe report about that later on.
