Dinner in Berlin: Long March Canteen

Berlin is a place so full of culinary experiences from all over the world, this intercultural mix makes the city so extraordinary. Recently, we discovered the Long March Canteen, a Dim Sum place in Kreuzberg. We love their cool interior design and all different kinds of hot and cold Dim Sums with a refreshing beer. Dinner in New York: Rosa Mexicano

I‘m a huge fan of Mexican cuisine and was more than pleased to try this restaurant after a friend recommended it to me. Rosa Mexicano is located just across the street from Lincoln Center and offers the perfect dining place before an evening at the ballet or the MET opera (they also have other locations around New York). The food was absolutely delicious and I can highly recommend the three tacos and a classic quesadilla. Make sure to share these dishes with a friend so you can really explore the diversity of Mexican food. Dinner in New York: Aurora

Aurora is probably one of the most romantic spots in Williamsburg. You’ll love sitting in this patio lit by typical NY light chains. But not only the atmosphere is amazing, also the food is absolutely worthwhile. The menu features Italian food, as well as daily specials. We can among others recommend the Paccheri alla Norma, wheat pasta with roasted eggplant, melted tomato, buffalo mozzarella and pine nut pesto or a refreshing Insalata con Gorgonzola with baby spinach and walnut vinaigrette. Dinner in Berlin: Dudu31

We both agree that sushi and asian food are amongst our favorite ever. That is why we were more than delighted when Dudu, having their original restaurant near Rosenthaler Platz, opened a second place in the heart of Berlin city West near Kurfürstendamm. Dudu31 is a stylish location that serves traditional vietnamese cuisine with a modern twist, including extraordinary sushi creations, delicious curries and salads. Dinner in Potsdam: My Keng

For the locals this place isn’t a big surprise but we still want to share it with all of you. My Keng is mainly know as a sushi bar in the heart of Potsdam serving also many other delicious dishes. All food they serve are absolutely delicious and super fresh. The open kitchen offers a direct insight and you can observe how your dish is prepared. The price range is average for good sushis. Avocado Makis cost 4.50 € and Anago Makis (salt water eel) cost 5.00 € – see these two in the pictures above. As a drink we highly recommend their Chanh Da a lime, mint and brown sugar mixture – super refreshing (coasting 3.80 €). Dinner in Berlin: Grace

Before or after fashion week events, it is always nice to have a relaxed dinner with friends, preferably in a place that has a great atmosphere. The restaurant Grace at Hotel Zoo is such a cozy and elegant place, where you can enjoy fabulous food and enchanting conversations. We can highly recommend their creamy rock shrimps as a starter, their roasted salmon with wasabi-pea puree and definitely the NY cheesecake as a perfect finish. Dinner in Amsterdam: Ron Gastrobar

Ron’s gastrobar is by far my favorite restaurant in Amsterdam. It offers a wide range of delicious small meals that I would describe as European-fusion. The design is chic and classic, with ironic art pieces on the walls and newspaper like-designed menus. You should definitely try and take different dishes at your table, giving the chance to share the different culinary experiences! Dinner in Amsterdam: Cannibale Royal

Before going to the Ballet, we spoiled ourselves with a cozy dinner at Cannibale Royale. The restaurant admittedly has a somehow awkward, ironic name and also the interior design makes you a little uncomfortable. Nevertheless, the atmosphere was familiar, cozy and the food was of high quality – if you love a nice burger or filet steak, this is your place to go! Drinks and Dinner in Berlin: Grace at Hotel Zoo

Berlin has a new hotspot – the Grace Bar and Restaurant at the Hotel Zoo. The Grace opened its doors 10. January 2015 and offers a “Drinking and Dining” concept that unites foreign and traditional flavors into an exceptional culinary experience. Apart from the superior quality of Grace’s food and drinks, the location has a unique atmosphere and interior design, created by well-known designer Dayna Lee from New York/ LA. We can warmly recommend the excellent “Whiskey Sour” or “Wild Berry Punch” (non-alcoholic and made with fresh wild berries). check availability and book a room here Hotel Zoo Kurfürstendamm 25 10719 Berlin What To Wear to this location

Dinner in Oxford: Jamie’s Italian

While staying in Oxford my boyfriend took me to the restaurant Jamie’s Italian. What comes to your mind when you hear this name? Yes, it’s Jamie Oliver, the famous british cook. The concept was founded in Oxford which is why we here have the first restaurant of this kind (but he himself was not there of course). However the dinner was absolutely delicious and don’t expect inflated prices. I enjoyed the salad called Market Superfood (small £5.95 / as main dish £10.95).This salad was filled with avocado, shaved fennel, candied beets, pulses, Italian sprouting broccoli, creamy cottage cheese, pomegranate, smashed nuts and seeds. Served with a fennel blossom Sicilian harissa. A real heaven! My boyfriend ate an italian steak with Italian-spiced skinny fries (£15.95). As drinks we head a non-alcoholic ginger mojito (£3.25) and a homemade lemonade (£2.95).
