Kopenhagen Photo Diary I

 Last weekend I was lucky enough to visit Kopenhagen with my boyfriend. At first, honestly, I was expecting a rather small and calm city. However, my expectations were exceeded completely! Kopenhagen is a beautiful, interesting, design affiliate, artful, easy-going city with a high quality of life. We actually managed to walk through the whole city in one weekend, our favorite districts definitely being the area near Nyhavn and the city centre. We can highly recommend to visit Rosenborg and Amalienborg, take a boat tour starting at Nyhavn, visit the Rundetaarn and just stroll through all the beautiful narrow streets. I also loved that there are so many interior design and lightning shops!

Last weekend my dancer colleague Davina and I took the chance to snap some spring inspired pictures under these beautiful blooming trees. They just make the perfect backdrop for such pictures and when they bloom you have to be real quick because as quickly as they grow the blossoms will be gone again just after a stormy day.

Christmas is coming closer and we want to make sure that you have the right gifts ready for your beloved ones. Boys, let us tell you this: we love cozy cute sweaters and delicate jewelry pieces. Sence Copenhagen (one of our all-time favorites) is really one of those perfect little gifts for Christmas. Not too glittery and over-sized. When it comes to sweater make sure to buy one which offers a good quality. French Connection for example has some absolutely lovely ones in their winter collection as well as Maje and Whistles.

Time is going so fast. These picture are already two months old but I still wanted to share them with you since I will be going back to Oxford next week to visit my boyfriend. A few years ago I lived close to Oxford for three and a half years which somehow makes this city a really important part of my life. I enjoyed coming back and I’m looking forward to being there again in a couple of days. (Got to eat fish and chips, again!)

I got to meet Dean from PickledThoughts on a very early morning in the centre of Paris, near to Ile de la Cité. Dean has this incredible capability of capturing beautiful morning light, which you can definitely recognize in these shots from near the Seine. I‘m officially back from my trip to London and Oxford. And as always – I totally loved it! Next Thursday I will be leaving again. This time I’m off to Paris to visit Jana and be around Paris Fashion Week with her – it will be so much fun. Jana already made a schedule for the time I will be there which means there will be a lot of fun things to do. In London I once again enjoyed the Shake Shack burger. I first tried them in New York and then found out that they have a Shack in London too. It’s looked directly in theMarket Building and offers the same classics as in NY. However I think they are too expensive. In New York you pay with dollar which makes a whlote lot ofdifference than paying in british pounds. One classic Shake Shack burger coasts £ 5,00 – which makes about € 6,40 // In New York you pay for the same burger $ 4,95 and this makes about € 3,80. Another thing …
