Sweet Treat in New York: Ample Hills Creamery

I seriously have never ever tried a better ice cream than this one served by Ample Hills Creamery (this was at Gotham West Market). Starting with the flavors – they offer some classics as well as some you never heard of: The Munchies, Salted Crack Caramel, Ooly Gooly Butter cake, Peppermint Pattie and many more. Even a dark chocolate one mixed with Guiness beer. And guess what, at the moment they offer a ice cream Star Wars limited edition: the light and the dark side! Brunch in New York: House of Small Wonder

As soon as you live in New York for a while, you will realize that Brooklyn is like a whole distinct world and you don’t necessarily have to travel to Manhattan all the time if you live there. You”ll have your own micro cosmos, you favorite coffee shop, brunch place, food market and so on… Last weekend we tried the brunch/lunch/dinner cafe “House of Small Wonder” in Williamsburg. They offer the best matcha cappuccino and homemade gluten free bread and granola. Even though the place is really small, we did not wait long for a table and it is definitely one of the coziest spots we found so far! Coffee in New York: Brooklyn Roasters

Brooklyn Roasters is my favorite coffee shop in the DUMBO area. A perfect Sunday would start with a soy latte and some work for the blog on my laptop. Afterwards, a stroll through the DUMBO area and a walk from Manhattan to Brooklyn Bridge. Afterwards, one can go to Brooklyn Heights for some shopping. Williamsburg Photo Diary

Once you are in New York longer than just a few weeks, you’ll start to discover one area at the time and eventually move to Brooklyn’s new hotspot – Williamsburg. The area is mostly young and arty, with many wall paintings and cafes to hang out, as well as some rooftops to have a chilled glass of Brooklyn lager beer. What I love most about this area is that around each corner, there is another interesting thing waiting and this district is so full of contrasts. We will keep you updated with our favorite spots in Williamsburg soon! What To Wear
