Indulge House Fashion Week Special

We’ve always been fans of all the blogger events that take place during Berlin Fashion Week and are not designer’s shows but rather crafted especially for bloggers. Last Wednesday we had the pleasure to attend the Indulge House Fashion Week Special at AMANO rooftop. It was a relaxing morning, with a Pilates session by Isabelle, who is a former ballerina and personal Pilates teacher from Berlin. Afterwards we enjoyed some food by superfoods & organic liquids Berlin and also various lovely brands, like Eins Berlin crafted jewellery and Nuori skincare products. Thank you for this event! During Fashion Week it is a true bliss to have some places where you can just relax, take some time out and have a drink with some other fellow bloggers. New York Fashion Week of course offered such a place at the Head Quarters. There were phone chargers, refreshing summer drinks, delicious snacks and cool cooperation partners to explore.

#HashMag Blogger Lounge

These days we prefer to attend blogger events during Fashion Week, since you can meet new people and chat a little and there’s always a nice relaxed atmosphere. On Tuesday we attended the #HashMag Blogger Lounge in Berlin Mitte and it was a really nice experience. We loved the idea to invite all bloggers to make their own floral wreaths. We both are always in for some handicraft work, to build something beautiful on your own always gives you a good feeling! After the event we headed to dinner at the Grace restaurant. We’ll give you an update about that night soon so stay tuned!

This year, the Lavera Showfloor started with an opening show with prominent guests like Elisa Sednaoui, Elisabetta Canalis and Evelyn Hall. The opening show featured Danish designer Ann Wiberg, showing beautiful her “trash couture” made out of antique fabrics, laces, beads and embroideries. The entire collection is sewn in her own atelier in Copenhagen and is destined to minimize waste and give a second life to pre-worn pieces of fabrics. Ann Wiberg is one of few designers who offer individualized services for designing a unique gown for a special event, wedding etc. Her couture is both “poetic and contemporary”.

Fashion Week. Again. We have to be really honest now: we don’t have that much time to visit all those shows and events which we are invited to. This is because we both work and we both study. Which means time is limited. We are always happy about every invitation but especially during the Fashion Week in January we are so busy with studying, working on projects (blog, work and dancing) that we don’t find the time for a 10 minute show. And most of all we won’t be able to make it to an after-party since we have to get-up early in the morning. However this Wednesday I took the chance to visit the Loft of the Blogger Bazaar team in Berlin Mitte. It was absolutely stunning. The location (a Penthouse located at Rosenthaler Platz) was flawless and the interior was divine. Plus the girls of Blogger Bazaar had put together an amazing line-up of partners. During our five days together in Pairs we took so many pictures that we still have some to share with you. You already saw the first set of pictures we took together with Fiona on a bright and sunny day. Here comes the second package. Yesterday, we went to the Berlin Showroom and enjoyed a lovely morning with coffee, raspberry madeleines and finest Berlin fashion in Paris. Brands like Perret Schaad, Hien Le, Barre Noir, Esther Perbandt, Monya Wasilewski, Antonia Goy and Isabell de Hillerin showed their actual collections and were happy to share their individual inspirations for their pieces in a small chat.

I‘m officially back from my trip to London and Oxford. And as always – I totally loved it! Next Thursday I will be leaving again. This time I’m off to Paris to visit Jana and be around Paris Fashion Week with her – it will be so much fun. Jana already made a schedule for the time I will be there which means there will be a lot of fun things to do. In London I once again enjoyed the Shake Shack burger. I first tried them in New York and then found out that they have a Shack in London too. It’s looked directly in theMarket Building and offers the same classics as in NY. However I think they are too expensive. In New York you pay with dollar which makes a whlote lot ofdifference than paying in british pounds. London Fashion Week kicked-off yesterday and I was able to snap a few pictures around Somerset House again. Already last year I was runing around the scene and now again. September is somehow my London month. Mostly I look out for beautiful bages and there are some labels I simply can’t get enough of: Celiné and Mulberry! Those two are just so beautfiul and somehow all over the place.
