At this point everyone gets really sentimental because you think back what happend this year. It was a great year! We met so many amazing people and had so much fun at all the events we attended. Thank you very much for that! Still, we are aiming for an even better time next year. New goals have been set and we hope we will be able to fulfill them. For now we wish you a wonderful New Years Eve and a perfect start into 2011. Here is our last photo series for 2010 (with old & new ones!) P.S.: Don’t forget to wear something red tonight!
Christina Arend once again demonstrated how good she understands her craft to design clothes and accessoires. The models were wrapped in dreams and wore super cool shoes and bags along with that (of course all chosen to underline each individual look). Outstanding were the necklaces from our point of view, so futuristic. The collection was dominated by bright and soft colours (nude, dove blue). The theme of this show was “Seen Nature” and fitted perfectly. Best look? Definitively the “Dream Your Eveningdress” which was worn by Janina Delia Schmidt as the closing dress.
These pictures were taken at the Marcel Ostertag Show. The theme of the show: “I love to hate you” – let the cats walk MIAU
The MCM Press Event was the highlight on Thursday! Super cool location at the Torstrasse in Berlin Mitte. We were welcomed extraordinarilly frindly by the hosts of the event. The whole ambiand was relaxed and cheerful. In the background electro lounge music played to create the atmosphere. We talked to a lot of open-minded and nice people of the business. Apart from that we admired the brands new MCM bag and luggage collection. The typical MCM print was all over the fine leather ware. We mostly like the small key charms in the form of a brown bear. Additionally we have to admit that the small warm and cold bites, the desserts and the drinks were adorable and there was a huge danger of addiction! But not only to the petit fours, more for the whole come-together of cool, relaxed fashion people in a great surrounding.
We just got home and got one hour to shower and change and then head to the Vero Moda Roofgarden. The Anja Gockel Show was not really what we expected it to be, Arrondissement Aq1 was amazing and the MCM Press Event at the Soho House Berlin was breath-taking (more soon in separate posts!) Plus we saw Matthias-Schweighoefer, German people will know him.
The second show we were attending was the Lena Hoschek Fashion Show. Lena Hoschek stands for the absolute fifties style. Always sexy, always with a little hint and always playful and bright. This time the collection was influenced by a rock ‘n’ roll kind of tone- there were bondage belts and corsages with rivets. All the models did wear Betty Page Perukes and latex stockings. The skirts were swinging and the heels the highest. If you like the age of the fifties this is definitely your collection! (We met this lovely model Cordula from Vienna. She walked in the Marcel Ostertag Show and the .DIMITRI Show – gorgeous walk!)
