Breakfast in Oxford: Vaults & Garden Cafe

In Oxford I had the absolut pleasure to enjoy a delicious breakfast at The Vaults & Garden Cafe housed in Oxford Universitie’s Old Congregation House of 1320. My boyfriend opt for the full breakfast. Meaning organic eggs, air-cured free-range bacon, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms & toasted artisan bread coasting £5.45 in total. While I decided to go for some scrambled eggs on toast (artisan bread) paying £3.75 for this delicious dish. As a drink we had a big pot of English breakfast tea which is called Leaf Tea for two if you will be looking for that on their menu (price £3.55). Besides that we also tried their delicious gluten-free and vegan chocolate brownie for £2.50 – it was a true sensation! At The Vaults & Garden you can also enjoy lunch and afternoon-tea with scones, homemadejam and clotted cream. Dinner in London: Masala Zone

While in London you really need to try this place. Masala Zone is a Indian street food restaurant located all around London. I have always been at their Covent Garden location which is always full in the evening. If you want to come with a bigger group you should make a reservation a little earlier. Ever since Tara and I found this place some years ago, I come here once when I’m in London. And I always enjoy the same dish: the regular Thali with Chapatti. It’s absolutely delicious. All those different flavours are a true sensation. Hot, spicy, sweet and always fresh. You can never go wrong with this dish. It coasts about £11.00 and you are more than satisfied afterwards. As a drink I like to choose a mango lassi since the food can be quite spicy sometimes (coasting about £ 3.00). London Photo Diary

I‘m officially back from my trip to London and Oxford. And as always – I totally loved it! Next Thursday I will be leaving again. This time I’m off to Paris to visit Jana and be around Paris Fashion Week with her – it will be so much fun. Jana already made a schedule for the time I will be there which means there will be a lot of fun things to do. In London I once again enjoyed the Shake Shack burger. I first tried them in New York and then found out that they have a Shack in London too. It’s looked directly in theMarket Building and offers the same classics as in NY. However I think they are too expensive. In New York you pay with dollar which makes a whlote lot ofdifference than paying in british pounds. One classic Shake Shack burger coasts £ 5,00 – which makes about € 6,40 // In New York you pay for the same burger $ 4,95 and this makes about € 3,80. Another thing …

Coffee in Berlin: SUPERMARKET

Located on the top of the new mall, Bikini Berlin, you will find this beautiful concept space. SUPERMARKET offers design pieces, fashion and some delicious food. So, not only can you enjoy some really delicious coffee, you are also able to shop some super cool pieces for your home. The other day I was able to spend some short but intense time there. The coffee was really good and therefore it was okay to pay € 3,60 for it. If you are a fan of soy milk, you can also add this to your coffee for € 0,30 on top. Next time I really want to try one of their juice cocktails e.g. Good morning Berlin (grapefruit, orange, raspberry, chili) or Vitamine Release (carrot, orange, apple, olive oil). Coasting between € 4,60 and € 6,50. For the cake I payed around € 3,80 – not cheap but really yummy. Sometime you need to treat yourself with something. They also serve lunch and dinner, but that will be worth another post. Price $$$$$ // Service ☆☆☆☆☆ …

LFW S/S 2015: Photo Diary

London Fashion Week kicked-off yesterday and I was able to snap a few pictures around Somerset House again. Already last year I was runing around the scene and now again. September is somehow my London month. Mostly I look out for beautiful bages and there are some labels I simply can’t get enough of: Celiné and Mulberry! Those two are just so beautfiul and somehow all over the place.

Magic Position – London

When you read these lines I will already be on my way to… London! At least once a year I have to visit this city otherwise I would go crazy. It’s my absolut favorite city and staying there is always a get-away for me. I’m not the kind-off hanging-around-at-the-beach-girl and I even love London on rainy days. Besides that I will also be staying in Oxford for 4 days since my boyfriends starts studying there. Oxford is so beautiful too and I got some nice things planed when I’m around my old home. It will be a whole lot of fun and when I’m back there will be many new pictures. Besides this I’m there during London Fashion Week. Got one show on the schedule and will be around for some street style snaps. Check out my last years LFW experience. These pictures are all mixed together from past London trips

Lunch in Potsdam: Backstoltz

Ok, so here comes my absolut favorite place in Potsdam for lunch AND a sweet treat (but that will be worth another post). First I would like to introduce to you Backstoltz as a spot for lunch. They have a daily changing card with a variation of dishes. You will always find different quiche’s and soups (around € 4,00) on their menu, too. The prices are really good and adequate. Main courses can cost from 7 to 15 euros, depending on what they offer. A quiche with a salad costs € 5,50 and is really enough for lunch. For € 1,20 you can add a big salad to the dish. On that day I enjoyed a goats cheese with fresh fruits, salad and baguette for € 8,90 – a true sensation! They also serve a delicious breakfast until 12pm. Price $$$$$ // Service ☆☆☆☆☆ // Location ☆☆☆☆☆ // Taste ☆☆☆☆☆ Backstoltz Dortustraße 59 14467 Potsdam open Monday – Friday / 9am – 8pm Saturday / 10am – 8pm (opening times can change) What To Wear to this location

To love, laughter and happily ever after…!

To love, laughter, and happily ever after…! When two people tie the knot it’s always a special moment. And when these people are close friends of yours it is even more emotional. On the 15th of August my dear friend Isabella married her fiancé and I got invited to their wedding party. It was such a lovely evening with a lot of fun and I was moved to tears. It’s not just a big step in someones life, it’s a memory you will never forget. So intimate, so wonderful. I wish the two all the best for their future together!

Sweat Treat in Potsdam: Fräulein Jakobine

Finally there is a place in Potsdam where you can buy some Macarons! A friend of mine got married last week and I was looking for some macarons which would complete my gift for the bridal couple. And tadaa I found THE place. Besides that Fräulein Jakobine (owned by lovely Anne Gersitz) is a little café where you can also enjoy some coffee, different cakes, muffins and weekly changing lunch dishes. A macaron costs € 1,40 and they serve many different, always changing flavors. You can sit inside or outside when the weather allows it. Coffee to go is also available. The price list for the drinks you find in these pictures. I didn’t find the time to enjoy a warm coffee there but was able to try the cold brew coffee quick which I really liked. Nice on a warm day! Fräulein Jakobine Am Bassin 11 14467 Potsdam open Tuesday – Sunday / 11am – 6pm

Lunch in Berlin: TheEats

The newest shopping addition around Zoologischer Garten is the concept mall Bikini Berlin, “..filled with a collection of carefully curated and compatible boutiques”. Of course there have to be some culinary destinations around the mall and one of them is TheEats – a deli, restaurant, bar and terrace extending over three floors. With my fellow student Swenja I met for lunch at their deli, located on the ground floor (restaurant and bar are a both). They serve a lot of different dishes. You can chose between pizza (also quarters or half ones), pasta (starting at € 6,50), sushi, salads and burgers with sweet potatoes (€ 9,50). We both went for their salad offer. From a variety of salads you were able to choose four different ones, costing € 6,50 in total. In addition you could add meet, chicken, vegan or fish bites – each costing € 1,00 extra. It’s nice to put your own dish together! Breakfast is also available. However it wasn’t that easy to understand their system but you can certainly ask their staff for help. …
