Personal Issue: Why Dogs are really better than Humans

I‘ve always been a dog lover, my whole childhood I wanted to have a furry friend and they day my parents got a golden retriever was probably one of the happiest in my life. But why are people so fond of dogs anyway? Now, that I’m living in the centre of Berlin, I can understand that some people don’t like dogs. When they’re ill-bred and do what they want, people are scared or annoyed rather than pleased by them. Nevertheless, there is so much that humans don’t see and with that, so many issues that we create with wrong body language or handling of dogs. Through my mom, who is an even bigger dog lover than I am and has educated herself a lot when it comes to dog education, I learned that dogs don’t like it when you lean over them, that you should always keep 5 core orders that a dog knows and that they calm dog when you touch their chests. There are million more interesting tricks and hacks, also specific for …

Long Time No See

It’s been quite a while since we managed to take some streetstyle photos together. So last night, we took the opportunity when Vanessa picked me up from work for a girls night! We first headed for the Louis Vuitton Time Capsule Exhibition at Unter den Linden, before making our way to the Edition F Female Future Event later that night. The outfit is already pretty autumn-like, since weather leaves us no choice at the moment. Summer has gone by so quickly! Right now, I’m really into comfy boots and office blouses. Any suggestions where to find nice ones online? Coat – Zara Blouse – Zara Jeans – Noisy May Boots – Clarks

Touch of Pink

It’s one week left until the Moët Party Day – we’re counting! However, this weekend is going to be less glamorous… We will both be working on Saturday and hopefully enjoy the sun on Sunday a little. About this look: the dress is my new favorite summer dress, the kind that you will throw over in seconds as soon as the sun comes out and instantly feel good in! I combined it with my small everyday-bag and some summer sandals. Dress – Mango Bag – Furla Shoes – Zara

Burgundy and Nude

The bomber jacket trend is still growing strong and we can’t deny that we also love these light jackets. While they only came in black or an oliv green at the beginning, you will now be able to find them in any colour and decorated with any pattern. This dark red one is the perfect day to night version. Combined with light colours during the day and a black dress during night you can easily mix and match it. Top – H&M Jacket – H&M Pants – Zara Sandals – Mango Clutch – Furla

I lost my Heart in Venice

Last Saturday was quite productive – we met with lovely Juliane from Headspace PR Hamburg in Café 1900 for some coffee and blog talk. Juliane was revealing, that we were part of their most recent issue of the Sermo Influencer Index, which is basically a huge network of international bloggers all around the world. Thank you again for the Ranking – we’re flattered! Later that day, we took some new street style photos with my new army green jacket that I got as a between-seasons-jacket! After some photos, we headed to another café and discussed our upcoming cooperation – we can tell you that much: it will be about beauty and solving a problem every girl has! We loved to be styled by the talented people of Shan’s True Beauty situated at Kurfürstendamm. For some reason, Shan’s Beauty always manages to give my hair a lot of volume that is staying for days! Since it was still a little chilly in Berlin, I decided to wear my fur vest on top of the shirt, combined with my favorite boot cut jeans – some think it’s too 60’s but I totally love the style! Flower Choker

I have been indecisive about the choker trend for quite a while – until I found this perfect, spring-blouse with a bright flower pattern and choker design. It instantly lifts my mood and makes me happy! I love to either wear it with some skinny jeans or as well with my favorite boot cut ones. A trench coat is always a safe bet to accompany the outfit. Windscheidstr.

Beige on beige on beige… I love the streets in my lovely neighborhood Charlottenburg. All pretty and in pastell colors. Last week, we squeezed in a coffee date between work to talk about New York and some plans for the blog! Fortunately, we can still enjoy some last summer days in Berlin and the weather is still warm. Still, I’m somehow already looking forward to fall! It’s going to be an exciting time! Skrit – Zara Bag – Zara Shoes – Nike Shopping List

Ice & Storm

This weekend we finally spent some quality time together and were able to snap some pictures. We are both back in Berlin, hands full with work and some new projects coming up. Berlin weather is still driving us crazy with wind, snow, ice and rain but we hope warmer days will come soon! Coat – Zara Hat – Michael Kors Boots – Softclox Bag – Liebeskind
