A day at the museum

A sunny day in Berlin’s museum district but still with a little chill due to low temperatures. We are longing for summer now! If you visit Berlin make sure to head to the Gemäldegalerie. Its one of those calm places where you can enjoy a lovely morning. Best time to visit? Tuesday morning around 10am – much more relaxed than other big museums in Europe. Porcelain Flower Dress

Home sweet home. There is no place like Berlin and no better thing than being home for a few days to spend quality time with my favorite blog partner. Some days ago, we finally managed to visit the Mario Testing “In Your Face” exhibition in Berlin. Mario Testino is definitely the pop star of fashion photography and his shots always capture extraordinary moments in the sparkling world of celebrities. First Impressions of Amsterdam

My first days in Amsterdam have been a little cold and rainy, but nevertheless simply beautiful. I am already in love with this city’s architecture, it’s cute little cafés, the delicious stroopwafels, the dreamy canals, lovely people and laid-back atmosphere. I am looking forward to seeing the seasons change and to witness spring in Amsterdam, I am sure there is nothing more beautiful. Get the perfect city bag here.

Grey on Grey

German weather gives us nothing but grey on grey these times… Due to this fact, our dressing mood reduces to oversized knitted sweaters and boots in all variations. I am in love with this grey and white one, that saves me from freezing. Coat – Mango Sweater – Zara Boots – Zara

Next Stop: Amsterdam

This week it is already time for my next stop: Amsterdam. I have always wanted to live some time in this wonderful city and now the time has come that my dream comes true. Amsterdam is full of creative, easy-going people and offers a perfect working environment for me to pursue my studies. I am looking forward to sharing some insider tips and streetstyle from the city with you!

Natural Beauty

This year, the Lavera Showfloor started with an opening show with prominent guests like Elisa Sednaoui, Elisabetta Canalis and Evelyn Hall. The opening show featured Danish designer Ann Wiberg, showing beautiful her “trash couture” made out of antique fabrics, laces, beads and embroideries. The entire collection is sewn in her own atelier in Copenhagen and is destined to minimize waste and give a second life to pre-worn pieces of fabrics. Ann Wiberg is one of few designers who offer individualized services for designing a unique gown for a special event, wedding etc. Her couture is both “poetic and contemporary”.

A day in January

Yesterday we attended a second Blogger-Breakfast with Abury together. It was fun to meet the team again and hear what is going on with their idea – huge exciting things are coming-up for them and we are super happy to be one of the first ones to know. Along with this occasion we took the chance to snap some new outfit pictures. The weather is still pretty nasty in Berlin (crazy storm going on outside). But still at least it’s not too cold.
