Coffee in New York: Chalait

This place is of course nothing new to the New York-coffer-lover-scene and for sure attracts the fashion pack. Inspired by the matcha tradition of Japan, Chalait offers a whole variety of matcha products. The name of the café derives from Cha (tea in Japanese) and lait (milk in French). Besides the delicious coffee you can enjoy some little snacks such as fresh banana bread, cookies, avocado-egg toast and stuffed croissants. And if you feel the need to have some Chalait at home, you can buy some of their products in store and online. Soon they will open another spot at Chelsea Market.
