Valentine’s Day Shopping Guide

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and therefore it’s time to get the right details. Either you can see this as a shopping guide for the ladies or as a present list for the boys. Whatever you need it to be, take it as an assistance for buying the right pieces. Every woman wants to feel sexy and confident. But this does not start from outside. What you wear underneath is as important as your daily outfit. And who is going to watch Fifty Shades of Grey btw.? Everyone is crazy about it but no one really says that they read the books. We have absolutely fallen for the soundtrack of the movie.

Lunch in Berlin: Mmaah

The past weekend I had the chance to attend the opening event of Mmaah, a Korean BBQ bistro located in Berlin Neukölln. After opening their first venue close to the underground station Boddinstraße the two owners have made another step with this opening. To be honest I have never tried Korean food and was more than thrilled to give it a try. In the pictures you can see the Mandu, Korean dough bags, and the Mmaah BBQ Potatoes. Both absolutely delicious! A small dish coasts € 4,50 and an XL one € 7,50 – all served with rice and fresh salad. As a drink I had a hot Mmaah ginger tea which was so warming and healthy, costing € 3,00. Dinner in Oxford: Jamie’s Italian

While staying in Oxford my boyfriend took me to the restaurant Jamie’s Italian. What comes to your mind when you hear this name? Yes, it’s Jamie Oliver, the famous british cook. The concept was founded in Oxford which is why we here have the first restaurant of this kind (but he himself was not there of course). However the dinner was absolutely delicious and don’t expect inflated prices. I enjoyed the salad called Market Superfood (small £5.95 / as main dish £10.95).This salad was filled with avocado, shaved fennel, candied beets, pulses, Italian sprouting broccoli, creamy cottage cheese, pomegranate, smashed nuts and seeds. Served with a fennel blossom Sicilian harissa. A real heaven! My boyfriend ate an italian steak with Italian-spiced skinny fries (£15.95). As drinks we head a non-alcoholic ginger mojito (£3.25) and a homemade lemonade (£2.95). Drinks in Oxford: The House

My boyfriend took me to this place when I was in Oxford in November. And I have to say: I loved it! The House is a bar located in the city center of Oxford. You get there through a narrow alley and will find an absolutely stylish place. The interior is classic and was also location to a Vogue photo shooting. Besides that it was listed on Elle magazines Top 25 Bars in 2010. Best time to go there is during their happy hour which runs from 5pm to 9pm Sunday to Thursday and 5pm to 8pm Friday and Saturday. Cocktails start from £3.95 during that time. For House beer and wine you pay around £2.95 Price $$$$$ // Service ☆☆☆☆☆ // Location ☆☆☆☆☆ // Taste ☆☆☆☆☆ The House Blue Boar St Oxford OX1 4EE Sunday to Wednesday / 5pm to Midnight Thursday, Friday and Saturday / 5pm till 1am What To Wear to this location
