One of the most difficult trends this season probably is the adequate styling of leather skirts and pieces. Summer. Sun. And Skirts! This summer season we have decided to invest more into skirts. You can wear them perfectly during the sunny days and also to night-outs. The week startet off pretty funny for us… We planed to snap some outfit pictures on Monday morning. Location and time was set but we somehow both ended-up at a different sight in Potsdam. There are just too many attractions to see in this city that we talked about the Chinese house and one of us landed at the Chinese Dragoon house while the other one was waiting in the park at the Chinese tea house. Funny who things like this happen, we truly had a laugh about that. On Tuesday we now somehow regularly meet for Lunch at work in Berlin. Which is just the perfect opportunity for us to snap a quick outfit combination for you. Today we both have a day of since it’s a official holiday here in Germany. The Kimono is a Japanese traditional garment. Today in Japan, it is worn for special occasions such as weddings, tea ceremonies, formal traditional events and funerals. An appropriate style and color of kimono is to be worn depending on the occasion and the person’s age and marital status. I personally have always been fascinated by Geishas. I read the book “Memoirs of a Geisha” by Arthur Golden and watched the movie, too. It is such a different world and culture that we in Europe simply can’t understand their way of living. Some years ago i brought this dressing gown at H&M but didn’t thought about wearing it outdoors. But somehow my mind changed and I’m trying challange this piece a bit more. Here are some summer essentials we cannot live without at the moment. I love my super comfy Birkenstock sandals- my feet can relax and also style does not have to suffer, with their silver design the sandals are fashionable and laid-back at the same time. Apart from that I have a weak side for fresh summer perfumes thus I had to have the new See by Chloé fragrance, which will accompany me throughout the summer. Of course, a flower printed bikini also could not be missing in this equation! I love this one from H&M.
