Somehow we have chosen the right time for snapping some pictures: 20 degree and sunny all day long. When the sun comes out in Berlin, everyone is hanging around town. It was yet another perfect moment to add a lovely must-go place to our Berlin guide list (soon on the blog). With the weather becoming better the clothes become lighter and skin can be shown just a tiny little bit. A mesh sweater are just perfect for these in-between temperatures. Make sure to keep your skin healthy when you want to show it. Use some body lotion after showering but try to avoid those with a strong perfume mixture. Dear Readers! We are more than proud to present a very special post to you, dedicated to one of the oldest traditions in German culture- the Oktoberfest! A special thank you certainly goes to the excellent Hotel Bayrisches Haus in Potsdam which functioned as the perfect location for our little shooting! Furthermore, we would like to recommend the German “Dirndl” designer Lola Paltinger who is situated in Munich. Her collections show exquisite Dirndl dresses with many fancy details, exceptionally beautiful fabrics as well as lovely accessories (as you may see below). Another special tip: tonight the Café am neuen See (surely one of Berlin’s most beautiful places) will host a Oktoberfest Event. If you are quick there will still be tables available. Outdoor in Berlin: Tempelhofer Feld

This place really feels like freedom. The wind was blowing, the sun was shining, a place to feel relaxed and down to earth. Some years ago Tempelhof was one of Berlin’s airports but after closing down it has become a huge sports/dog walk/sunbathing area. Got to take my inline skates with me next time. Guess I have found my perfect summer dress. Light fabric, nice pattern and all for a good price. Everything I have been searching for. Plus I can wear it as a day dress with sandals and simple silver necklaces or as a party dress with some boots and sparkling jewelry. Actually I’m also thinking about buying the red one, too.
