Amsterdam Photo Diary

After a super fun girls weekend together in Amsterdam there are still so many pictures to share with you. Today we therefore give you another inside look into what we did together. All in all the weather was great which isn’t granted at all. So we took the time to sit in the sun, enjoy some sparkling ice tea and stroll through all those beautiful canals. Also a slice of the best Amsterdam apple cake had to be on our to-do list (find out about this place here).

Home sweet home. There is no place like Berlin and no better thing than being home for a few days to spend quality time with my favorite blog partner. Some days ago, we finally managed to visit the Mario Testing “In Your Face” exhibition in Berlin. Mario Testino is definitely the pop star of fashion photography and his shots always capture extraordinary moments in the sparkling world of celebrities. Macaron Love

In honor of last month, the month of love (Valentine’s Day – it’s your fault!), we are once more sharing some #foodporn addiction. Hello, Macarons! Three facts why we just can’t get enough of these little cuties 1. They taste super delicious and can come in so many flavors. From Cassie Violette over to Pistache and Café – you won’t be disappointed! 2. They look way to good on pictures! Those colors are just flawless and make you happy each and every time. Fun and flirty. 3. You instantly get this Parisian feeling. When the daily routine is a little to much it’s time to take a little vacation and somehow Macarons are the perfect little get-away. Where can I buy Macarons in Berlin? Makrönchen Manufaktur, Du Bonheur and Galeries Lafayette for course. Get the pastel Macaron #ootd

Saving Memories

For photo junkies like us the digital age is both fascinating as well as slightly terrifying. We all know there is one major downside of digital photos – once your storage breaks or any other technical issue occurs, all pictures are gone, some forever. That is why we both have a set rule: from time to time we remind ourselves to print out our most beloved pictures and we also find much joy in designing photo albums. There is nostalgic and solid about an actual photo album that you can hold in your hands. It is a memory that lasts and always a nice present for our loved ones. One service we can only recommend is the CEWE photo world. The page offers an easy way to design and print your photo albums online and you will get them delivered to your doorstep in only three days. Check out all the different products they offer and find a way to secure your memories, you will be grateful for it one day. With friendly support of CEWE

First Impressions of Amsterdam

My first days in Amsterdam have been a little cold and rainy, but nevertheless simply beautiful. I am already in love with this city’s architecture, it’s cute little cafés, the delicious stroopwafels, the dreamy canals, lovely people and laid-back atmosphere. I am looking forward to seeing the seasons change and to witness spring in Amsterdam, I am sure there is nothing more beautiful. Get the perfect city bag here.

Oxford Photo Diary

Time is going so fast. These picture are already two months old but I still wanted to share them with you since I will be going back to Oxford next week to visit my boyfriend. A few years ago I lived close to Oxford for three and a half years which somehow makes this city a really important part of my life. I enjoyed coming back and I’m looking forward to being there again in a couple of days. (Got to eat fish and chips, again!)

Halloween in Paris

Since we have a little other situation this year, meaning one of us being in Paris and the other in Berlin, we have decided to create a different Halloween Special for you! Therefore we have put together a little collection of pictures showing you two different sides of “Halloween” in Paris. A night out with some friends and a day trip to a special place. We have to admit, we love the movie Phantom of the Opera staring Emmy Rossum and Gerard Butler. And somehow we ended up making a little tour á la Photo. This also brought us to the Pére Lachaise Cemetery and took our breath away. It really isn’t the normal cemetery you see everyday and somehow, as strange as it may sound, we were fascinated by it. Happy Halloween everyone!

Paris Photo Diary

Since I have never ever been to Paris before this was a really special vacation for me. I have already heard so many things about this city which made me even more curious to visit it. And this was actually the perfect way to discover the french capital. Jana already knows so much about the city and you don’t need a tourist guide to run around with. It’s always more fun to explore a place with someone who already knows it because they can show you the real sides you need to see and try. Here are some pictures I took while staying in Paris. The weather was absolutely beautiful and we were able to walk a lot – killing feet at the end of a day though.
