This weekend we finally spent some quality time together and were able to snap some pictures. We are both back in Berlin, hands full with work and some new projects coming up. New York is an incredibly exciting but can also be an exhausting city. When you work here, you’ll often find yourself rushing from appointment to another, located in different parts of this super huge city. The result: you do not only need an outfit, but moreover a companion to bring you through the day! I‘ve been looking for the perfect trench coat for quite a while now… Last week, I finally fount it at Club Monaco in the Central Park West area! A trench coat is like the most essential piece a girl should own, it goes with nearly everything and is supposed to upgrade your outfit instantly. I love the classic beige color of this one and the cut, also the material is just super comfortable and does not wrinkle when worn. I could literally buy everything at Club Monaco, their style is just exactly what I imagine my wardrobe to be! After an exhausting Fashion Week we spent the Saturday together, relaxing, strolling around and having some brunch and frozen yogurt. I love the area around Lincoln Center and Central Park West. It has so many nice boutiques and lovely places for coffee. Additionally, the Central Park is just around the corner and one can always just dive into this green oasis. This is probably my favorite new dress I can wear from day to night just by changing my footwear. I got it at Zara a few days before I flew to New York, not expecting to be able to wear it as often as I already did. But yeah, here we are: beautiful weather in New York City. New York Fashion Week is mostly extravagant, quite colorful and a little over the top. Still my German pragmatism made me choose a black simple but chic outfit, so I can be sure it goes with everything and is practical during the whole day (I was rushing back and forth between events and work).
