Another must-see in Copenhagen is the Rosenborg. It’s a beautiful Dutch Renaissance style castle, that has a small base but was build high, reaching in the sky. It was used by Danish regents as a royal residence until 1710. Inside, you can visit the original rooms with baroque furniture transporting you back in time. During a short weekend get-away to Leipzig I visited this cute litte café serving delicious sweet treats. Marshalls Mum is located in the south of Leipzig and offers a welcoming atmosphere. They are mainly known for their cupcakes (also vegan ones) but also offer fresh cakes, brownies and macaroons. The coffee they serve has a really good flavor and along normal milk they also offer soy and oat milk. If you plan to visit on the weekend I recommend to make a reservation. Briki is a Greek breakfast café and deli situated in the east of London. They offer a delicious granola with greek yoghurt, fruits and honey, as well as some baked goods and coffee. Besides their breakfast card they offer a nice lunch menu, also for take-away (the price is a little lower then). It is a cozy and simple spot for a quick breakfast or a coffee in the morning. You really must try their award winning coffee which is roasted from high-quality green coffee beans. When I visited Milan some weeks ago, of course a must-see was the Fondazione Prada. It’s a modern and futuristic complex, filled with art and the café designed by Wes Anderson, Bar Luce. The Fondazione Prada is not necessarily what you would suspect from a complex build by a fashion house. The branding is very subtle, the design modern and the focus is on art rather than fashion. The architecture behind this concept is Rem Koolhaas and his team OMA/AMO.
The first couple of times I visited London, I did not even know the Shoreditch area. But when I found out, I was simply amazed! I love this edgy and cool side of London and in particular the Spitalfields market. I love to go there on sundays, even though it is quite crowded. But the many different food, arts and clothing stands are worth it.

I have visited Milan a couple of times now but recently I realized that I completely underestimated this city. I thought, there is the Duomo, the Galleria Vittorio Emannuele and that’s it, basically. However, this time I discovered that there is so much more to this city! I went to Navigli, where people sit nearby the canals, enjoy the sun, drink some Aperol Spritz and just relax. Also, the area near Wagner is very beautiful and not at all touristy. Milano has really convinced me that it has more to offer than tourist sights and I fell deeply in love with this amazing city!
We both love London more than many other cities in this world. London just feels different, we somehow feel at home there. What I love most is to stroll through my favorite neighborhoods and just explore the areas. Some of my favorite districts are Marylebone, Shoreditch, Kensington and Covent Garden. What to pack
It is safe to say that London is heaven for brunch lovers. There are countless nice places offering the best food, whether it is the classic English breakfast, intercontinental, healthy, exotic or French… This time we went out for brunch with family and friends at the German Gymnasium, nearby King’s Cross station. The interior is super nice and the food as well. We can recommend the granola, even though it comes with only a tiny bit of yoghurt so you’ll probably have to order some extra yoghurt! When you are in the United States you should at least once go to a typical American diner. In New York, we went to Williamsburg-based Kellogg’s Diner and it was awesome! Get one of the breakfast specials and make sure to take a lot of maple syrup with your pile of pancakes!
