Monate: November 2012

December is so close

♫ Tony Bennett & Amy Winehouse – Body And Soul ♫    Yes, it’s true: December is just one day and a few hours away. Believe it or not its the month when everyone  gets really sentimental and starts to think back what happened this year. Of course we will have our  Midnight Couture Christmas calendar again, which will hopefully help you find the one or other present for family  and friends.  Have you already decorated your house/flat/room? We just had to… Because after all (cold, grey, dark, snow – talking weather here) it’s still such a charming season.

The Little Black Jacket

♫ Citizens – True Romance ♫  We for sure couldn’t miss this exhibition.  The Little Black Jacket  Chanel’s Classic Revisited  by Karl Lagerfeld & Carine Roitfeld  U3 Bahnhof & Tunnel  Potsdamer Platz 1  10785 Berlin (for those who aren’t sure if they should go: the whole exhibition is free and  you also get a poster for free. Hope that makes the decision easier)

Victoria’s Secret in London

The store already opened this summer but I still wanted to share it with you.   It’s their first European store and my first visit ever to a Victoria’s Secret store. Always mesmerized  by the shows, I went in and was swept away. On four floors you can shop till you drop from lingerie, to  nightwear and beauty. In the windows you find the 2011 Fashion Show collection which is pure perfection.  Have you seen the one from this year?  (the pictures we don’t own are marked with the link where to find)

Victorias Secret Fashion Show 2012

Yesterday, Victoria’s Secret once again created a shimmering, bright, sexy and glamorous world of dreams. Dream is really the right term for what Victoria’s Secret is all about- dreams of lingerie, dream bodes and beauty- something that is only barely touchable and precious. To make it short – their collection is a source of inspiration every year and we couldn’t imagine pre christmas time without it.  (Pictures found on Vogue.com, Just Jared)

November Inspiration

Somehow we are not able to think of really thick coats and the typical November rain. We would rather like to unleash our inner counrty gild and give the wild-west chic a chance. Isabel Marant showed us how to do it and Zara gives us a little help to style-up our closets. Let’s see. Jeans shirts, western boots, gold accessories, cowboy hats, braided or loose hair, satchels and belts with big buckles. YEAH! (all pictures via)
