Halloween in Paris

Since we have a little other situation this year, meaning one of us being in Paris and the other in Berlin, we have decided to create a different Halloween Special for you! Therefore we have put together a little collection of pictures showing you two different sides of “Halloween” in Paris. A night out with some friends and a day trip to a special place. We have to admit, we love the movie Phantom of the Opera staring Emmy Rossum and Gerard Butler. And somehow we ended up making a little tour á la Photo. This also brought us to the Pére Lachaise Cemetery and took our breath away. It really isn’t the normal cemetery you see everyday and somehow, as strange as it may sound, we were fascinated by it. Happy Halloween everyone!

Candy Lips

The sweetest things in life… What are yours? We definitely like to enjoy a small sweet treat from time to time… Wearing Artdeco lipstick. It never is easy to find the right shade for you since there are so many. But with Artdeco you can’t really go worng. They have so many lovely colours and are easy to apply. This Love Is In The Air one is so discreet but still you get this glorious feeling of wearing a lipstick and being a confident woman. Because somehow it dose take some confidence to wear one. Necklace – Sence Copenhagen Lipstick – Artdeco Nr. 667 Love is in the air

Lilac in Autumn

While in Paris a month ago we also meet lovely Fiona during Fashion Week. We took the opportunity to take some pictures in the Tuileries Garden. The weather was absolutely marvelous! Just look at this bright colours in the background. A true sensation for snapping some pictures. Dress – Fionas own creation Boots – Doc Martens

Season’s Cravings

Some of your might already have done some shopping for the colder season, but anyways christmas is just around the corner and it is always nice to let oneself be inspired on what key pieces to focus on for our wardrobe. That is why we have gathered this little wishlist for your, showing our favorite accessories and clothes right now. You find all items in this online shop FashionID. I love the pale grey woolen coat by Marco Polo, because it goes well in combination with a simple sweater to a day look but combined with a cocktail dress or a low-cut blouse it goes very well for dinner or a night out as well. The booties are a must-have for every autumn and go well with a pair of dark jeans but also with a lovely skirt. They are comfortable to wear but nevertheless elegant. The medium sized Liebeskind bag in soft beige leather is the perfect accessorize to this autumn look. It has enough space for all our crucial belongings like phone, lipstick …

Turquoise Wall

A nice white shirt always goes well with some statement jewelry for a casual day outfit. Here I am wearing a lovely worn silver Florence necklace by Sence Copenhagen. Shirt – Zara Necklace – Sence Copenhagen (coming soon!) Bracelet – Sence Copenhagen Watch – Armani Sunglasses – D&G

Paris Photo Diary

Since I have never ever been to Paris before this was a really special vacation for me. I have already heard so many things about this city which made me even more curious to visit it. And this was actually the perfect way to discover the french capital. Jana already knows so much about the city and you don’t need a tourist guide to run around with. It’s always more fun to explore a place with someone who already knows it because they can show you the real sides you need to see and try. Here are some pictures I took while staying in Paris. The weather was absolutely beautiful and we were able to walk a lot – killing feet at the end of a day though.

Coffee in Paris: Rose Bakery

Rose Bakery is a real insider’s tip for foodies in Paris thus it is the first place we’ll feature in our #parisguide. Even though the café has a very simple, rustic interior it scores with highest quality, delicious and most importantly fresh products. Favorite little treat is definitely either the crumble with red fruits or the matcha green tea and raspberry loaf. It goes perfectly with a freshly brewed coffee or one of their many different teas. However you have to expect some not so cheap prices. A caffe latte costs € 4,00 and the cakes start at € 7,00. Nevertheless it’s a one time experience you need to try in Paris. You can also enjoy some lunch dishes for which you will pay from € 10 to € 19. Price $$$$$ // Service ☆☆☆☆☆ // Location ☆☆☆☆☆ // Taste ☆☆☆☆☆ Rose Bakery 46 Rue des Martyrs 75009 Paris open Tuesday – Friday / 9am – 6pm Saturday and Sunday / 9am – 6pm

Place Vendôme: SOFTCLOX in Paris

I have grown up to not feeling obliged to wear too fancy, high-heeled or unpractical shoes in my daily life (during the day) anymore – moreover, people would rather describe myself as a little more conscious or maybe even “green” when it comes to my feet. Therefore, I am always looking for shoe models that would be comfortable to wear without sacrificing style on the way. That is why SOFTCLOX eventually has become one of my favorite shoes brands. They feel comfortable even though worn from dusk ’till dawn and always look stylish! This time I would like to present SOFTCLOX model “Ines” to you- a black ankle boot made of soft Nubuk leather, which has a snake-like texture. The sole is made of high-quality alder wood from Europe that perfectly adjusts to your feet. These shoes totally saved my feet during Paris Fashion Week! The White Blazer

Every woman should own a classic, well-fitted black and white blazer. They simply give every outfit this business-chic and also underline a tough personalty. Even a casual jeans and T-Shirt combination will look absolutely stunning with a blazer. You simply can’t have enough of them but certainly you need black and white in your closet first before any other colour. White Blazer – Sheinside Boots – Doc Martens Bag – Vintage
