During Fashion Week it is a true bliss to have some places where you can just relax, take some time out and have a drink with some other fellow bloggers.
New York Fashion Week of course offered such a place at the Head Quarters. There were phone chargers, refreshing summer drinks, delicious snacks and cool cooperation partners to explore.
This is probably my favorite new dress I can wear from day to night just by changing my footwear.
I got it at Zara a few days before I flew to New York, not expecting to be able to wear it as often as I already did. But yeah, here we are: beautiful weather in New York City. Super happy about that!

New York Fashion Week is mostly extravagant, quite colorful and a little over the top.
Still my German pragmatism made me choose a black simple but chic outfit, so I can be sure it goes with everything and is practical during the whole day (I was rushing back and forth between events and work).

During Fashion Week, the High Line Hotel hosted the Town & Country Atelier Event – inviting many fashionistas to enjoy a ZOYA manicure and experience luxe accessories in between shows.
The event was nice and intimate, just the perfect opportunity to relax during these stressful days.
Aurora is probably one of the most romantic spots in Williamsburg. You’ll love sitting in this patio lit by typical NY light chains.
But not only the atmosphere is amazing, also the food is absolutely worthwhile. The menu features Italian food, as well as daily specials.
We can among others recommend the Paccheri alla Norma, wheat pasta with roasted eggplant, melted tomato, buffalo mozzarella and pine nut pesto or a refreshing Insalata con Gorgonzola with baby spinach and walnut vinaigrette.
Germany offers some delicate weekend-getaway destinations. Over the years I think many people have realized this and especially the German people start to explore their country.
A few weeks ago I spent a weekend at the North Sea, the weather could have been a little better but the seaside is still a beautiful place even when it’s raining. Somehow it’s easier to except a bad weather day here than anywhere else.
It was a beautiful day in July, when our dear friends said “yes” forever. We were happy to share this special day with them and be part of such a dream wedding!
Of course it is not easy to find a dress for such an occasion and with mine I had this seldom and wonderful “aha” moment – that was the right dress!
When you experience such a moment, you feel more confident in your dress and there is an inner shine that comes from within!
I was wearing this light blue lace dress by Coast that I first saw in London.
