Brunch in Berlin: House of small Wonder

In Williamsburg, House of Small Wonder was one of my favorite cafés because they make the best matcha latte in town! That’s why I was super happy to discover that another House of Small Wonder opened in Berlin some time ago! I love that the place is super cozy and instantly transports me back to my times in Williamsburg. Go there for all day brunch and lunch in a nice atmosphere. Dinner in Berlin: Crackers

Crackers is one of the new hotspots in Berlin. It has an impressive interior that is both chic and cool, and foremost very “Berlin”. We loved the warm freshly made brioche that comes as a starter and the vegetarian burger with mushrooms. Crackers is definitely the place to be on a Saturday or Friday night, before heading out to dance. To visit DALUMA at Rosenthaler Platz in Berlin was long on our to-do list. Past Friday, we finally made it! What can be said is that DALUMA is definitely the right place if you like healthy vegan food, basically all that is green! The place itself is simple but it’s food is nutritious and freshly made. Dinner in Berlin: Dudu31

We both agree that sushi and asian food are amongst our favorite ever. That is why we were more than delighted when Dudu, having their original restaurant near Rosenthaler Platz, opened a second place in the heart of Berlin city West near Kurfürstendamm. Dudu31 is a stylish location that serves traditional vietnamese cuisine with a modern twist, including extraordinary sushi creations, delicious curries and salads. Breakfast in Berlin: Quchnia

Last week I headed out to have breakfast at Quchnia, one of Berlin’s most elegant Cafés in a prime location. It is situated at Gendarmenmarkt, directly facing the concert hall. The food is delicious and of high quality, all dishes are appetizingly presented and freshly made. The menu offers a wide variety of breakfasts, different bites like organic sourdough bread or quiches and soups. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. Culture in Potsdam/Berlin: Frauensache

A few weeks ago I had the great chance to visit Schloss Sanssouci (a local sightseeing highlight) on aMonday, a day when the doors normally stay closed for the public. From the 22nd of August until the 22nd of November the Stiftung Preußischer Schlösser und Gärten will be hosting the exhibition “Women’s Business. How Brandeburg became Prussia“. In this the Hohenzollern women are the center of attention, how they shaped the country, what goals they had and how ambitious they were. The main exhibition will be held at Schloss Charlottenburg in Berlin, in other castles such as Sanssouci, the visitors will find little information boxes for this purpose. Schloss Charlottenburg – Theaterbau Spandauer Damm 10 14059 Berlin closed on Mondays / Tuesday – Sunday 10am till 6pm Adult 14 € / discounted 10 € What To Wear

Drinks in Berlin: Grace Bar

The Grace Bar is the elegant extension of the Grace restaurant, both situated in the Hotel Zoo. The bar is seeking to reinterpret the classic drinks of the 1920s and 50s, reflecting the building’s spirit as meeting point of the political and intellectual elite of that time. Their drink menu is extensive and offers cocktail gems like Floriferous Fizz by Grace, a Westside Cosmopolitan and Shades of Grey. Lunch in Berlin: Le Faubourg

Last week we enjoyed a fabulous lunch at “Le Faubourg”, belonging to the Sofitel Berlin Kurfürstendamm. The restaurant has a loyal base of guests for their weekly lunch, an institution in the Berlin city west. In the evening the restaurant has adopted a concept of sharing many small dishes as starters. We both are huge fans of this eating concept, since it is so much nicer to experience many different tastes than only one! Additionally, the dinner gets a lot more social and interactive. Mostly, “Le Faubourg’s” dishes are inspired by the French cuisine with modern influences. You can find their menu here. The lunch menu changes every week. Price $$$$$ // Service ☆☆☆☆☆ // Location ☆☆☆☆☆ // Taste ☆☆☆☆☆ Le Faubourg Augsburger Str. 41 10789 Berlin What To Wear to this location
