Breakfast in Berlin: The Klub Kitchen

Some days ago we went to The Klub Kitchen to try out their granola, which is supposed to be very good. Unfortunately, even at 11 am there was no granola available because it was still in the making… However, we then opted for an avocado rye bread toast with A LOT of salad. It was nice but maybe a little sour. Nevertheless, The Klub Kitchen is a nice hang-out if you are searching for a quick coffee and minimalistic design. Lunch in Berlin: Cecconi’s

This week I was finally able to try out Cecconi’s, newest extension to Soho House Berlin. The restaurant serves fine Italian food and has an extensive menu satisfying every taste. We enjoyed a wide variation of dishes and can definitely recommend the meatballs, tatar and grilled fish. Apart from the excellent food, I love Cecconi’s interior, which is a gathering of huge, red chesterfield sofas, heavy wooden tables and giant chandeliers, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Shopping & Food in Berlin: The Store

The Store in Berlin is a unique concept, which is mixing gastronomy, co-working and shopping. It is a hang-out for startup founders and freelancers, spending their day working on their MacBooks and sipping cappuccinos. It also is a store for modern street style, decorative items, books and music. And lastly, if that wasn’t enough already, it’s a restaurant for breakfast and lunch. The lunch always consists of five different salads, that go together in a bowl and are always healthy and delicious. I can also highly recommend their cold-pressed juices, which are actually made by hand and on-site in a small juicery truck – try the Beetroot, Pineapple, Ginger! Brunch in Berlin: Roamers

Yesterday, I finally visited Berlin’s insta famous brunch café Roamers for a work meeting. I can definitely say, the hype is real! People were standing in line for breakfast on an ordinary Tuesday morning, normally I only experienced such behavior in New York City, where it’s absolutely normal to wait one hour to get some overpriced avocado toast – but that’s a different story. Roamers is small but cozy, dishes are somewhat arranged in a messy but photogenic way. However, most importantly, the food tastes great. We had the granola with fresh berries and the classic avocado toast with poached eggs and I think both tasted fabulous. Grace Rooftop Opening

We were happy to be among the first people to visit the newly built Grace Rooftop, a bar as fabulous as the restaurant itself. The rooftop is the perfect location for a cool drink on a warm summer night. We already tasted the Banyan Mule and a cocktail made with coriander and pineapple, that was just delicious! We already know what this summer’s place to be is… Grace Rooftop Bar 7th Floor Kurfürstendamm 25 10719 Berlin What to Wear to this location

Healthy in Berlin: Superfoods & Organic Liquids

It is no secret that healthy food is big in Berlin. If you walk down Weinbergsweg in Mitte, you’ll find one organic food store after the other. Superfoods & Organic Liquids is one of them. The store is small but has a stylish interior and nice menu variety for the size of the café. I really liked that there were different fruit toppings to their bircher mueslis or chia puddings, either raspberry acai or mango. I can also recommend the coffee with a huge matcha or chocolate cookie on the side! Nightlife in Berlin: Apartment Roof Top

Last weekend we all had a blast celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday at apartment roof club. The club is smaller than others, but has a beautiful roof terrace and interior design. The roof terrace offers a perfect location for a sun downer after a long day of work or, if the weather isn’t that nice, you can sit inside and enjoy a lovely view over Berlin. Breakfast in Berlin: Distrikt Coffee

Steadily the breakfast spots in Berlin are growing and improving. One, very instagramable place, is Distrikt Coffee closely located to the subway station Nordbahnhof. We have already seen a few pictures on the social media platforms and figured it was time to visit the café. They serve a delicious breakfast even though the portions are not very big and you certainly need more than one if you really want to be satisfied. Also the coffee pots aren’t really huge and quickly cool out. But everything tastes really good. Nevertheless because of the price this isn’t an everyday place to enjoy. The interior is cozy and the people hanging around here are typical Berlin inhabitants or tourists who stumbled across the place on Instagram.
