Coffee in Milan: Bar Luce

Throwback to a wonderful time in Milan. Of course I had to visit Bar Luce, part of the Fondazione Prada und fully designed by creative genius Wes Anderson. I can actually say, I felt more like being part of a colorful film set like the one of Grand Budapest Hotel that being in a café in Milan. But that is exactly what makes Bar Luce so exciting – it is so otherworldly, it transports you into a different place and you can somehow fade out day-to-day life. Denim Skirt

Denim on a sunny day… I simply love that in summer, you can just take a pretty skirt and a t-shirt and you are set. I admire simple outfits, that are nevertheless chic but not overdone, especially during the week. Sometimes you just need a five minute combination that will bring you through the day no matter what. We try to at least once a weak meet for coffee, blog talk and snapping some pictures. Because we both work full time and study as well, sometimes it is hard to find time. But somehow, we always manage! We love that Berlin has so many quiet and nice streets, that are also green with flowers. It just  very much feels like home.

Culture in Milan: Fondazione Prada

When I visited Milan some weeks ago, of course a must-see was the Fondazione Prada. It’s a modern and futuristic complex, filled with art and the café designed by Wes Anderson, Bar Luce. The Fondazione Prada is not necessarily what you would suspect from a complex build by a fashion house. The branding is very subtle, the design modern and the focus is on art rather than  fashion. The architecture behind this concept is Rem Koolhaas and his team OMA/AMO.

Nude Colors

On a not so sunny spring weekend, we are invited to a super cute baby shower by a common friend of ours. It’s always a pleasure to be there for such occasions and to feel the love of a mommy to be! MAVI Store Opening

Last month I was able to attend the Mavi store opening in the new shopping center Mall of Berlin located close to Potsdamer Platz. It was a lovely evening with some other bloggers. For the evening I wore, of course, a total Mavi outfit combination. To be honest before this event I just knew their name but now I have discovered their perfect fitted jeans and absolutely love wearing it. PFW S/S 2015: Dior Show

Fashion Week madness in Paris. One week ago we decided to take a look at the outfits in front of the Dior fashion show at Cour Carrée du Louvre. Totally crazy! People screaming and shouting, running and gliding. When Anne Dello Russo came she walked directly into our direction and when Dakota Fanning arrived everyone went crazy. I’m not sure how I got the picture of her but you can see it here (Nr. 6). Also Coco Rocha and Natalia Vodianova walked by with their bodyguards. In the end Marion Cotillard came who we sadly missed since we were so hungry we had to find something for lunch. Which meant, ending up in a little backyard park with super delicious falafel.
