Dear Readers, We are often asked for our personal beauty tips so here’s a small beauty post especially for you. Well, however I have to disappoint you – I do not use many beauty products at all. I treat my hair with John Frieda as well as Wella Professional Shampoo and I really like Rituals products in summer. There’s not much that touches my facial skin, except for a light Vichy Creme and some make up removing milk. I try to always remove my eye make up- regardless on how tired I might be! I cannot say much except for feeling and looking healthy starts with healthy food and never taking to much of a thing! No, not the best way to start spring, the season of pastel shades, flowers and beautiful scents. Better you cuddle yourself into a warm coat like Jana did the other day. Wear some lined shoes and a cozy cap in order to keep warm. We know, it’s never easy to look good in winter when you also want to look warm but here is a idea how you could to it. You could also put on some lipstick in a bright colour. It will give you and the people around a bit of spring-feeling and your lips will be protected against the cold.

There are so many beautiful cities, mesmerizing landscapes, a lot of history, perfect gelato and delicious food. I have been to Venice two times already but just for a day, never stayed there for a few days actually. It was just the perfect time of the year to visit the lagoon city. Not to many tourists and perfect weather. Luckily we had no Aqua Alta! Watch out, the blog will be an Italian oasis the next few days.

After those stressing exam days I was more than happy to escape the old familiar everyday-life and head to Weimar. These pictures were taken from last Saturday till yesterday and show what I have been doing in those four days with my lovely boyfriend. We enjoyed snowy Weimar, a beautiful Swan Lake performance by the Staatsballett Berlin and relaxed in a modern hotel.

However the sun made it’s way through the clouds and we decided to go out for a little walk. Of course cuddled up in warm clothes. Since there is a harsh wave of influenza in Germany at the moment we try to stick to old tips: drink a lot of tea, eat a lot of fruits and vegetables and enjoy some fresh air. But the last weeks were just packed with mostly one thing: studying! Therefore we finally enjoyed a lovely afternoon together yesterday in order to start our holidays in a perfect way.
