Newest addition to my wardrobe… After wanting a chic, simple and elegant clutch that can go with every outfit, I finally decided to get a Furla Metropolis bag. It’s beige, to be more specific the color is “acero” with some light golden details. The inside is crafted with soft, beige suede and some rivets are supporting the bag from underneath. Dear Furla Metropolis, I love your simple and chic design, that you go with every outfit and I am already looking forward to spending the summer with you!
The first month of the year is coming to an end and we are happy to share some of our favorite beauty / accessories additions with you. Half-moon necklace from H&M I bought this little cute necklace last week since it perfectly matches my kind-off jewelry obsession. It’s delicate, a little sparkly and offers a nice highlight to any casual outfit combination. Real Techniques makeup brushes These brushes make the application of makeup fun and easy. The brush itself is soft and the brand offers a good variety of products. Great quality for a great price. They are not as expensive as the Zoeva brushes but just as good. Maybelline Super Stay 7 Days nail polish Super easy to apply and a nice shade (Rose Veil nr. 882) for the season. I have not tried if they really stay for 7 days but it worked for three.
Who doesn’t like a classic piece in their wardrobe? Right – everyone wants to own something delicate, something that matches with everything and is worth investing in. When it comes to watches we guess everyone is a little picky because it is a piece you constantly wear, day in and day out. Therefore finding the right one can be pretty tough. Pierre Cardin offers a great range of watches where probably everyone will be able to find a great watch for an affordable price. The one you see in these pictures also comes with a little trick – you can change the wrist band. Make sure to visit their page for the full shopping fun. We always love to see how designers create fashion pieces out of different materials than one would expect. Especially, when it’s natural materials, like in this case: this Jord wood watch is definitely an eye-catcher to every outfit. Jord wood watches are hand-crafted and each watch is a unique piece. One must admit, the watch is just super comfortable to wear – the wood is soft and light, it feels natural to wear it and it is highly designed and stylish at the same time. Check out the Jord website for more information. In cooperation with Jord Wood Watches
Christmas is coming closer and we want to make sure that you have the right gifts ready for your beloved ones. Boys, let us tell you this: we love cozy cute sweaters and delicate jewelry pieces. Sence Copenhagen (one of our all-time favorites) is really one of those perfect little gifts for Christmas. Not too glittery and over-sized. When it comes to sweater make sure to buy one which offers a good quality. French Connection for example has some absolutely lovely ones in their winter collection as well as Maje and Whistles.
Last month I was able to attend the Abury blogger breakfast held in their store in Berlin Mitte. Along with me there were some other bloggers such as Jasmin from @myberlinfashion and Anni from @bildhuebschblog . All in all it was a really nice round and the atmosphere was comfy. We listened to their concept and their idea behind it. Talked about the up-coming collection and had the chance to take a look at the models.
Since we have a little other situation this year, meaning one of us being in Paris and the other in Berlin, we have decided to create a different Halloween Special for you! Therefore we have put together a little collection of pictures showing you two different sides of “Halloween” in Paris. A night out with some friends and a day trip to a special place. We have to admit, we love the movie Phantom of the Opera staring Emmy Rossum and Gerard Butler. And somehow we ended up making a little tour á la Photo. This also brought us to the Pére Lachaise Cemetery and took our breath away. It really isn’t the normal cemetery you see everyday and somehow, as strange as it may sound, we were fascinated by it. Happy Halloween everyone!
While in Paris a month ago we also meet lovely Fiona during Fashion Week. We took the opportunity to take some pictures in the Tuileries Garden. The weather was absolutely marvelous! Just look at this bright colours in the background. A true sensation for snapping some pictures. Dress – Fionas own creation Boots – Doc Martens
Fashion Week madness in Paris. One week ago we decided to take a look at the outfits in front of the Dior fashion show at Cour Carrée du Louvre. Totally crazy! People screaming and shouting, running and gliding. When Anne Dello Russo came she walked directly into our direction and when Dakota Fanning arrived everyone went crazy. I’m not sure how I got the picture of her but you can see it here (Nr. 6). Also Coco Rocha and Natalia Vodianova walked by with their bodyguards. In the end Marion Cotillard came who we sadly missed since we were so hungry we had to find something for lunch. Which meant, ending up in a little backyard park with super delicious falafel.
Yesterday, we went to the Berlin Showroom and enjoyed a lovely morning with coffee, raspberry madeleines and finest Berlin fashion in Paris. Brands like Perret Schaad, Hien Le, Barre Noir, Esther Perbandt, Monya Wasilewski, Antonia Goy and Isabell de Hillerin showed their actual collections and were happy to share their individual inspirations for their pieces in a small chat.
