Must visit in Potsdam: Park Sanssouci Part I

It’s an early sunny Sunday morning and I’m out snapping some ballet pictures. Choosing the right location in Potsdam actually isn’t that easy because during the summer season there are so many tourists around town, running through every picture. If you ever come to beautiful Potsdam you must visit Park Sanssouci. Want a tipp? Get up really early in the morning, head to the park and just breath in this perfect place. You will possibly only meet some joggers or dog walkers. Around every corner you will find something new – let it be a magnificent building, a bubbling fountain or some beautiful flowers. You can visit the whole park grounds for free. If you want to visit one of the buildings you need to buy a ticket. These are just a few pictures, soon there will come some more.

Goodbye 2013

When it comes down to prepare this post we always think “What happened to this year?!”. Somehow it comes really slowly, the end of one year and the beginning of a new one. However it still always feels as if we have created this post just a few days ago. And now we do it again. One year, gone so fast and with it so many memories to keep in mind. What has been most memorable then? Here a little list which is really just captures some things We traveled a lot this year – Amsterdam, London, Praha, Palma de Mallorca, Madeira, Weimar, Istanbul, Paris, Roma and Venice. We hope to be able to add some more beautiful places to our list in the next year. Traveling is such a passion, you ca never get enough of it. We have done an interview with the Tagesspiegel about Midnight Couture. Additionally we also joined the BlogStars and Stylight blogger network. So many opportunities have come along and we are so grateful for it. And you made this actually possible. BIG THANK YOU …

Cheers! Be Merry!

In the post before this one we have showed you some inspirations for a Birthday decoration or also usable for any other party you want to throw. Here however comes the table and house decoration of Jana’s birthday bash. If you want to have a special event make sure you keep an eye on the details because those certainly stay in mind afterwards. It’s always a good idea to stick to a colour or different shade of the same colour. When you have decided on that one you need to check some of your favorite decor or living stores or online shops for matching pieces. Don’t over do it! If you have some highlights it’s good but you don’t need a whole bunch of them.

The last couple of days

The last couple of days have been pretty stressful again. University took-up a lot of time. Then we worked on our new project together with SisterMag and had a little birthday bash yesterday. Besides that the next few weeks will be really tough because of exams and presentations. AND getting everything ready for Christmas (unbelievable how fast this year went by!). It’s always this busy month with buying presents, writing cards and baking cookies.

Amsterdam

I always wanted to go to Amsterdam and after the reopening of the Rijksmuseum the desire to travel there grew even more. When we, my boyfriend and I, booked the flight tickets it was done deal and I enjoyed every minute in this city. Beautiful architecture, cute little streets and inspiration everywhere you go. If you want to enjoy a short trip over the weekend Amsterdam should be one of your first destinations on your list.

Summermood
