Stripes for fall

These pictures can’t hide it anymore: Autumn is here. But it can be such a beautiful season with all those colored leaves, long walks through the park, cuddly scarfs and a cinnamon spiced coffee. What do you like to do during some sunny Autumn days? We also took the chance to snap some outfit pictures. Next week university life starts for me again and I’m actually not that motivated to go back to the classes. Somehow I love to work for new projects and enjoy some free time on the weekend, not thinking about reading texts and writing essays. But I’m looking forward to see all my study mates again and chat to them. It’s always fun to hear and see what they have been up to during our “free” time. Summer so over so fast and it seem surreal to be back to kind-off normal daily business soon. Coat – Zara Off-shoulder shirt – H&M Skirt – Zara Sneakers – Adidas Stan Smith

Wild Garden

Who hasn’t been in this situation yet? There are some people in life who are really special to us and who have been through various ups and downs with us. Friends who are so special that we can’t live without them and need their guidance in every situation. Letting this be a normal one like choosing the right pair of jeans or taking care of our broken heart. A best friend is a person in your life who just excepts you the way you are and never lets you down. And than, there comes this situation when you urgently feel the need to thank this person. And this, is really important! Even though the other person dosen’t expects to get a thank you, it is necessary to do it anyway. The team behind Wild Garden has therefore come up with an idea to say thank you to your bestie. They have created a fragrance line consisting three different kinds off scents. This gives you a good variety to choose from. The three are: Pretty&Wild, Sweet&Naughty …

The Statement Jacket

A classical, well suited jacket can turn any outfit into a sensation. This summer we both had fun in trying out some more daring ones in order to give our everyday looks a little twist. This red jacket by Mango (currently on SALE – be quick!) is a perfect day and night piece. With jeans and a shirt you can work it during the day, even at the office, and with a cute dress plus some fancy heels it makes the perfect match for a night out. At the end of this post we have put together a little overview with some fancy, statement jackets which you can happily add to your shopping list. Jeans – Zara (on Sale!) Jacket – Mango (on Sale!) Blue skies smiling at me

Snapping these pictures wasn’t easy actually. It was raining the whole day and we tried to catch a weather gap. The weather God wasn’t on our side which is why we headed to the beautiful New Palace and used those beautiful arcades as our backdrop. Even though the weather wasn’t summerly at all, I couldn’t resists on wearing this beautiful light blue skirt from Zara. I already bought it some weeks ago and was desperately waiting to wear it. I really love the shape of the skirt which is why I also got it in black the other day. Shirt – Zara Skirt – Zara Trenchcoat – Burberry Shoes – Adidas Sunglasses – Ray Ban

Burgundy and Nude

The bomber jacket trend is still growing strong and we can’t deny that we also love these light jackets. While they only came in black or an oliv green at the beginning, you will now be able to find them in any colour and decorated with any pattern. This dark red one is the perfect day to night version. Combined with light colours during the day and a black dress during night you can easily mix and match it. Top – H&M Jacket – H&M Pants – Zara Sandals – Mango Clutch – Furla

Good Vibes Only

It’s Monday and the week ahead of us is filled with appointments. We have been working on an exciting cooperation which we will launch this Wednesday on the blog – stay tuned. Besides our daily madness we will be traveling between university, business meetings, ballet rehearsals and grabbing a coffee on the go. The past weeks have been really busy and it seems the up-coming ones won’t be much easier (our schedules are drenched in different colours and plastered with sticky notes). The long Easter weekend lays ahead of us and we do hope for some better weather than the forecast gives us. We haven’t planed much and will rather try to regain some strength and relax with our families. Next week university starts again and I’m not so motivated but hope the excitement will kick in as soon as I meet my fellow students. After such a long university-free-time it can be a real pain to go back and study. The past weeks haven’t been easy and I was researching and writing two essays. I didn’t go on holiday and the next weeks will be filled with new lectures and rehearsals for our up-coming ballet. Metallic Stripes

That’s what my basic everyday outfits look like – my favorite jeans (which is mostly the same brand to be honest – they just fit like a glove!), a black shirt, my new leather jacket, that I already love, and the most comfy sneakers! We’re aware that Adidas superstars and stan smiths are everywhere right now but as soon as I wore them, I knew why! They fit casually to every outfit and are super comfortable. Pink stripes

We loved to be styled by the talented people of Shan’s True Beauty situated at Kurfürstendamm. For some reason, Shan’s Beauty always manages to give my hair a lot of volume that is staying for days! Since it was still a little chilly in Berlin, I decided to wear my fur vest on top of the shirt, combined with my favorite boot cut jeans – some think it’s too 60’s but I totally love the style!
