Classy Breakfast on a Rainy Morning

Looking still a bit tired but happy – the other day we went to Benedict for breakfast and it was awesome. We sipped on peach mimosas, had some vegan cashew yoghurt with granola, of course the most delicious pancakes and some bread with spreads. Afterwards, we tried to snap some outfit pictures for you despite the heavy rain. Today the sun is shining again and we wish you a super great start into the weekend! While taking these pictures we were once again reminded that we live in a city where rain is inevitable. So we headed to Walter-Benjamin-Platz, a square named after the philosopher Walter Benjamin. The adjoining Leibniz colonnades offer the right protection for some outfit snaps (and yes, we have taken here some pictures before. Take a look here and here). The light blue jacket is from the current Zara collection and also available in a light pink pastel shade. A friend of mine wore it and I instantly fell in love with it. So, as soon as I got home I ordered it online and got it delivered a few days later. I actually didn’t think of really buying it in the end but somehow it was just too gorgeous to send back. Beige on beige on beige… I love the streets in my lovely neighborhood Charlottenburg. All pretty and in pastell colors. Last week, we squeezed in a coffee date between work to talk about New York and some plans for the blog! Fortunately, we can still enjoy some last summer days in Berlin and the weather is still warm. I‘m back from a short but intense trip to Palma de Mallorca. It was an absolute pleasure to spend some quality time with two of my closest friends in this lovely town. In the next couple of weeks you will see a lot more impressions of this trip and some great tips on what to do, see and where to eat. During our visit we stay at an AirBnB flat with a marvelous roof terrace and a stunning view. In the afternoon/evening the light was just perfect to snap some summer pictures. There’s nothing better to show off your summer tan than with a white, lacey dress! I’m absolutely in love with this find by Desigual. It’s perfect to feel like you’re on vacation, even when you’re already back to work and everyday life. The dresscode of the Moët party was “Boho Glamour”. So what better to wear than a super light, printed dress, that happens to be my favorite summer dress ever. It has a low back and swings slightly when you dance. For shoes, I chose some rosé suede heels, that have a similar boho pattern and some floral elements. We try to at least once a weak meet for coffee, blog talk and snapping some pictures. Because we both work full time and study as well, sometimes it is hard to find time. But somehow, we always manage! We love that Berlin has so many quiet and nice streets, that are also green with flowers. It just  very much feels like home.

Do you know this feeling? The feeling when you visit a location that just takes your breath away? Through our time in New York we have been lucky to often see the city from above and admire the hectic world beneath. These spots, where you can see Berlin from above, have also been growing stronger in the last couple of years. But sometimes there are still these roof views that seem so unreal. During a special project we got the chance to snap some pictures on the roof of the hotel Sofitel in Berlin.
