I lost my Heart in Venice

Last Saturday was quite productive – we met with lovely Juliane from Headspace PR Hamburg in Café 1900 for some coffee and blog talk. Juliane was revealing, that we were part of their most recent issue of the Sermo Influencer Index, which is basically a huge network of international bloggers all around the world. Thank you again for the Ranking – we’re flattered! Later that day, we took some new street style photos with my new army green jacket that I got as a between-seasons-jacket! After some photos, we headed to another café and discussed our upcoming cooperation – we can tell you that much: it will be about beauty and solving a problem every girl has! The long Easter weekend lays ahead of us and we do hope for some better weather than the forecast gives us. We haven’t planed much and will rather try to regain some strength and relax with our families. Next week university starts again and I’m not so motivated but hope the excitement will kick in as soon as I meet my fellow students. After such a long university-free-time it can be a real pain to go back and study. The past weeks haven’t been easy and I was researching and writing two essays. I didn’t go on holiday and the next weeks will be filled with new lectures and rehearsals for our up-coming ballet. Culture in Potsdam: Museum Barberini

Since a few weeks the city center of Potsdam has been enriched by another great cultural attraction: the Museum Barberini. Filled with pieces reaching from the Old Masters to contemporary artists, this place is a true sensation for art lovers. It took quite some time to find the right place and building for the museum but with the newly build Plazzo Barberini the art, mainly sponsored by Hasso Plattner, has finally found a good setting. The architecture of the building is beautiful: free, spacious and filled with light. If you plan to visit the museum make sure to bring some time and make sure to buy some tickets before. Even though its already open since a few weeks there are still queue in front of the main entrance in the morning. Another great tip: download their free! App and enjoy some good, short entries on the art displayed in the museum. Museum Barberini Alter Markt Humboldtstraße 5–6 14467 Potsdam What To Wear to this location

Classy Breakfast on a Rainy Morning

Looking still a bit tired but happy – the other day we went to Benedict for breakfast and it was awesome. We sipped on peach mimosas, had some vegan cashew yoghurt with granola, of course the most delicious pancakes and some bread with spreads. Afterwards, we tried to snap some outfit pictures for you despite the heavy rain. Today the sun is shining again and we wish you a super great start into the weekend! Light Blue

While taking these pictures we were once again reminded that we live in a city where rain is inevitable. So we headed to Walter-Benjamin-Platz, a square named after the philosopher Walter Benjamin. The adjoining Leibniz colonnades offer the right protection for some outfit snaps (and yes, we have taken here some pictures before. Take a look here and here). The light blue jacket is from the current Zara collection and also available in a light pink pastel shade. A friend of mine wore it and I instantly fell in love with it. So, as soon as I got home I ordered it online and got it delivered a few days later. I actually didn’t think of really buying it in the end but somehow it was just too gorgeous to send back. Almost Home

Its still cold outside in Berlin so there is no other option than to cuddle-up and work on your layering skills. Taking these pictures took us maybe five minutes but the street corner was so freezing because of the wind breaking. We were so happy it didn’t take us long. The new week is again filled with quite a few appointments and university (yeah – but its the last week!). Time to make some coffee dates with friends and catch-up on the past couple of weeks. Hot Chocolate Weather

Do you know this feeling? The feeling when you just want to stay at home and cuddle-up in bed? And in the same thought you just know that you won’t be able to do that? We would call it the winter blues and instantly hope it ends better sooner than later. The best thing to do during these cold days? Enjoy a good coffee or a hot chocolate with a friend. It seems simple but in todays hectic world it can become a true master skill to find a date were both have time. But its so necessary to make time for such occasions since it will give you strength for everything that is coming along.  Coat – Zara Boots – Tommy Hilfiger Scarf – Zara

Saturday’s at the museum

Its been a while since we shared a post with you but we have been extremely busy lately and figured we only would like to come back posting, when we have more content to share with you. The past weeks I have been running between university lectures and dance training. Last October I started my M.A. study program (dance science) at the Freie Universität Berlin. After finishing my B.A. in art history and history I figured it was time to pick-up a field I dream of working in. Studying art history and history was good and I still consider working in this section but I’m really looking forward to expand my horizon in the dance science area. During the next weeks we will share more personal information with you, show you new places, offer some recipes and shopping details. These pictures were taken at the Hamburger Bahnhof, a museum offering a range of contemporary art. The collection permanently displayed is not my favorite (except the works of Warhol and Lichtenstein) one but the building itself …

Windscheidstr.

Beige on beige on beige… I love the streets in my lovely neighborhood Charlottenburg. All pretty and in pastell colors. Last week, we squeezed in a coffee date between work to talk about New York and some plans for the blog! Fortunately, we can still enjoy some last summer days in Berlin and the weather is still warm. Still, I’m somehow already looking forward to fall! It’s going to be an exciting time! Skrit – Zara Bag – Zara Shoes – Nike Shopping List
