Those of you who are following us on Instagram and Facebook have probably seen that I’m currently back in New York. But not for Fashion Week as many may think but to follow my passion: dancing. It has become a tradition to visit this city every year to train, be inspired and get new ideas. Again it has been a true pleasure for me and it will be so hard to leave on Monday. I somehow feel a little more attached to the city than the years before and enjoy each and every moment. I hope I can come back soon and train even more. For now I love sharing some snaps with you and over the next weeks you will be able to experience more #newyorkguide posts.

Bread&Butter 2016

New concept, new owner, new location. The Bread&Butter tradeshow has gone through a whole lot of changes and refreshingly enters the fashion world stage this year at Berlins Arena. Newest innovation? The tradeshow (now owned by Zalando) is open to the public. Throughout the years it has been a by-invitation-event-only over the past years, this has been changed and is now accessible to everyone interested in the fashion hype. Direct interaction with the brands and the possibility to buy the newest pieces straight-away (also new!) encourages the fashion crowd to travel to Alt-Treptow, Berlin. We enjoyed some quality time together and had the chance to indulge in some good conversations with the girls from Fleek. I‘m back from a short but intense trip to Palma de Mallorca. It was an absolute pleasure to spend some quality time with two of my closest friends in this lovely town. In the next couple of weeks you will see a lot more impressions of this trip and some great tips on what to do, see and where to eat. During our visit we stay at an AirBnB flat with a marvelous roof terrace and a stunning view. In the afternoon/evening the light was just perfect to snap some summer pictures. There’s nothing better to show off your summer tan than with a white, lacey dress! I’m absolutely in love with this find by Desigual. It’s perfect to feel like you’re on vacation, even when you’re already back to work and everyday life. Moët Party Outfit

The dresscode of the Moët party was “Boho Glamour”. So what better to wear than a super light, printed dress, that happens to be my favorite summer dress ever. It has a low back and swings slightly when you dance. For shoes, I chose some rosé suede heels, that have a similar boho pattern and some floral elements. Spring is in the air

Last weekend my dancer colleague Davina and I took the chance to snap some spring inspired pictures under these beautiful blooming trees. They just make the perfect backdrop for such pictures and when they bloom you have to be real quick because as quickly as they grow the blossoms will be gone again just after a stormy day.

On a not so sunny spring weekend, we are invited to a super cute baby shower by a common friend of ours. It’s always a pleasure to be there for such occasions and to feel the love of a mommy to be! In the next couple of weeks I will be attending a handful of events where it is necessary to dress chic, which is why I figured it would be nice to invest into a new dress. When it comes down to such events it’s nice to have something in your closet you can always rely on e.g. this dotted H&M dress from the current collection (available in stores now). Since most of the events involve church visits I have chosen a knee-long dress with a flattery skirt and a narrow waist line. And after all the occasions the dress will still be a nice summer piece.
