Dinner in Oxford: Jamie’s Italian

While staying in Oxford my boyfriend took me to the restaurant Jamie’s Italian. What comes to your mind when you hear this name? Yes, it’s Jamie Oliver, the famous british cook. The concept was founded in Oxford which is why we here have the first restaurant of this kind (but he himself was not there of course). However the dinner was absolutely delicious and don’t expect inflated prices. I enjoyed the salad called Market Superfood (small £5.95 / as main dish £10.95).This salad was filled with avocado, shaved fennel, candied beets, pulses, Italian sprouting broccoli, creamy cottage cheese, pomegranate, smashed nuts and seeds. Served with a fennel blossom Sicilian harissa. A real heaven! My boyfriend ate an italian steak with Italian-spiced skinny fries (£15.95). As drinks we head a non-alcoholic ginger mojito (£3.25) and a homemade lemonade (£2.95). The Casual Christmas Jacket

I really love dressing elegantly when the right occasion comes along but most of the time you will find me in comfy sweaters, black skinny jeans and my heavy Ash boots or ballet clothes, of course. Which is why I have fallen for this sporty yet a little glamours jacket. And you even feel a little Christmas-is-coming-like. Which honestly hasn’t reached me till now! Jacket – Mavi Pants – Mavi

Drinks in Oxford: The House

My boyfriend took me to this place when I was in Oxford in November. And I have to say: I loved it! The House is a bar located in the city center of Oxford. You get there through a narrow alley and will find an absolutely stylish place. The interior is classic and was also location to a Vogue photo shooting. Besides that it was listed on Elle magazines Top 25 Bars in 2010. Best time to go there is during their happy hour which runs from 5pm to 9pm Sunday to Thursday and 5pm to 8pm Friday and Saturday. Cocktails start from £3.95 during that time. Time For Tea And Cookies

In November Jana had the chance to visit us here in Potsdam and of course we took the chance to snap some outfit pictures for you. It was still pretty “warm” for the month November. So, a warm, big cardigan was really enough to wear outside. Combine it with a autumn colored blouse and some heavy boots. Now since it becomes colder outside make sure to grab a beautiful coat and some nice gloves. Blouse – Mavi Pants – Mavi Cardigan – Zara Boots – Zara

Culture in Paris: Opéra Garnier

There certainly are many things in Paris you shouldn’t miss while visiting the city but this place has to be on the top of your list: the Opéra Garnier (or the official name Opéra National de Paris). If you find the time take part in one of their guided tours and experience the opera building on a new level. The interior is absolutely breath-taking and you will always be remembered of the Phantom of the Opera story which plays around this house. Blogger breakfast with Abury

Last month I was able to attend the Abury blogger breakfast held in their store in Berlin Mitte. Along with me there were some other bloggers such as Jasmin from @myberlinfashion and Anni from @bildhuebschblog . All in all it was a really nice round and the atmosphere was comfy. We listened to their concept and their idea behind it. Talked about the up-coming collection and had the chance to take a look at the models.
