This place is of course nothing new to the New York-coffer-lover-scene and for sure attracts the fashion pack. Inspired by the matcha tradition of Japan, Chalait offers a whole variety of matcha products. The name of the café derives from Cha (tea in Japanese) and lait (milk in French). Besides the delicious coffee you can enjoy some little snacks such as fresh banana bread, cookies, avocado-egg toast and stuffed croissants. And if you feel the need to have some Chalait at home, you can buy some of their products in store and online. Soon they will open another spot at Chelsea Market. Beige on beige on beige… I love the streets in my lovely neighborhood Charlottenburg. All pretty and in pastell colors. Last week, we squeezed in a coffee date between work to talk about New York and some plans for the blog! Fortunately, we can still enjoy some last summer days in Berlin and the weather is still warm. Still, I’m somehow already looking forward to fall! It’s going to be an exciting time! Skrit – Zara Bag – Zara Shoes – Nike Shopping List
While visiting New York it was impossible to not visit this cute place. Everyone around Prince / Canal Street was running around with a cup of Cha Cha Matcha. This café offers a good range of Matcha products starting with the classic Matcha Latte but also selling Matcha banana bread, doughnuts filled with Matcha cream and Matcha lemonade. You get it: Matcha all over the place. But of course you can also enjoy normal coffee beverages. The interior is cute and the prices normal for New York conditions. But be sure to bring your Credit Card because they don’t expect cash! I always love to discover new brunch places in my neighborhood Charlottenburg / Wilmersdorf. Recently, we discovered this place called “Die Stulle“, the German name for bread. It’s a cozy and cute place, decorated with a lot of love and the food is just awesome. We are huge fans of the pancakes and all variations of sourdough bread with different homemade spreads! They also serve delicious lunch. Price $$$$$ // Service ☆☆☆☆☆ // Location ☆☆☆☆☆ // Taste ☆☆☆☆☆ Die Stulle Carmerstraße 10 10623 Berlin What To Wear to this location
Those of you who are following us on Instagram and Facebook have probably seen that I’m currently back in New York. But not for Fashion Week as many may think but to follow my passion: dancing. It has become a tradition to visit this city every year to train, be inspired and get new ideas. Again it has been a true pleasure for me and it will be so hard to leave on Monday. I somehow feel a little more attached to the city than the years before and enjoy each and every moment. I hope I can come back soon and train even more. For now I love sharing some snaps with you and over the next weeks you will be able to experience more #newyorkguide posts.
This is probably the dream ice cream shop of our childhood. Cute stripped cups, fresh waffles, lovely toppings and delicious ice cream. Die Eisfrau offers all these aspects. Situated in Babelsberg, a district of Potsdam, this cute shop offers one of the best ice creams in town. The range of flavors changes daily and you will be able to try varieties such as chocolate with chili, rice pudding, grapefruit, Pina Colada or Cappuccino. Those of you who are looking for vegan ice cream, this is your place. Last weekend we tried out a Korean place called Dae Mon, situated at Monbijouplatz in Mitte. The food is contemporary Koraen and prepared in an open kitchen. We mostly liked that there was an interesting variety of dishes that were innovative and tasty. And we can highly recommend their Pale Ale!
