June’s Favorites

Our this months beauty favorites are… Velvet Touch Mascara by Artdeco I was talking to a good friend at the ballet studio the other day and told her that I was looking for a good, not too expensive mascara. I have been using one by Artdeco already but she recommended me this one and so far I really like it. Easy to apply and a beautiful design. Thanks for sharing, Saskia. Balm-to-oil by Biotherm I normally wear make-up really rarely. Sometimes all I need is a swish of mascara and thats it. But during the summer season I have to apply a lot of make up because of my performances on stage. Any make-up remover has been really disappointing so far but this creamy substance has helped me to get ride of all that foundation and eyeshadow plastered on my face. Water, mint and cucumber deodorant by CD I spotted this deodorant in my Mums bathroom and have instantly fallen in love with the fresh, summerly smell. It really helps you to get through a …

Touch of Pink

It’s one week left until the Moët Party Day – we’re counting! However, this weekend is going to be less glamorous… We will both be working on Saturday and hopefully enjoy the sun on Sunday a little. About this look: the dress is my new favorite summer dress, the kind that you will throw over in seconds as soon as the sun comes out and instantly feel good in! I combined it with my small everyday-bag and some summer sandals. Dress – Mango Bag – Furla Shoes – Zara

Blue skies smiling at me

Snapping these pictures wasn’t easy actually. It was raining the whole day and we tried to catch a weather gap. The weather God wasn’t on our side which is why we headed to the beautiful New Palace and used those beautiful arcades as our backdrop. Even though the weather wasn’t summerly at all, I couldn’t resists on wearing this beautiful light blue skirt from Zara. I already bought it some weeks ago and was desperately waiting to wear it. I really love the shape of the skirt which is why I also got it in black the other day. Shirt – Zara Skirt – Zara Trenchcoat – Burberry Shoes – Adidas Sunglasses – Ray Ban

Moët Moment – Vol.II

In no more than 11 days, the next International Moët Party Day will take place in Berlin – and we are more than excited! Last year, the event could be described as “the perfect summer day”. We were drinking refreshing champagne cocktails, listened to a private Adesse performance and danced into the sunset… This year we already know, that we’ll go on a glamorous cruise and the party will take place in a villa nearby the Wannsee. But enough about us, here’s the best thing: you can also be part of the Moët Party Day 2017! Apply for your ticket here. Here’s also a short throwback to the Moët Party Day 2016…

Personal Issue: Why do we always judge each other?

Lately, I couldn’t help but think a lot about “judging” and how it affects our lives in general. I understand, that judging means to formulate an opinion about a person, often without knowing them better or being present at the circumstances. For some reason, judging others is a sport among women, especially when Instagram is involved. Profiles are checked out, opinions are formed – a picture that is a little bit too revealing or make-up that is applied is a little bit too much, will be topic of talk in minutes! But why are we so pre-occupied with others? And why do we think, that our interpretation is always right? Honestly, I think judging others should not even be a thing. We should all keep in mind, that people are flawed (we all are) and everyone has the right to live and present themselves on Social Media in the way they want. However, when people are presenting themselves on Social Media this way, shouldn’t we also be allowed to form opinions and talk about it? …

Burgundy and Nude

The bomber jacket trend is still growing strong and we can’t deny that we also love these light jackets. While they only came in black or an oliv green at the beginning, you will now be able to find them in any colour and decorated with any pattern. This dark red one is the perfect day to night version. Combined with light colours during the day and a black dress during night you can easily mix and match it. Top – H&M Jacket – H&M Pants – Zara Sandals – Mango Clutch – Furla

Shopping in Berlin: Bellwinkel

In the heart of Güntzelkiez in Wilmersdorf, we found this small and cozy shop called “Bellwinkel”. The store offers a wide variety of small things, that make your life more beautiful – interesting cookbooks, colorful spoons, cooking equipment, candles, teas, chocolates, spices, nice dishes… The particular: all goods are neatly arranged by colors. During lunchtime, Bellwinkel provides a new lunch menu every day. Apart from that, they also do catering. Altogether, Bellwinkel is the right address for gifts, if you need a certain oriental spice for a new recipe or if you’re just in the mood for strolling… Bellwinkel Güntzelstraße 46 10717 Berlin What To Wear to this location

Personal Issue: About the long-distance-relationship-trend

A few weeks ago I stumbled across this article about relationships. In this they wrote that more than half of all Germans have lived in a long-distance relationship during the last year. Surprising? Not really. Many of my friends have been in this position and I can also give a deep insight on this topic. But is this really a new trend? An old, and yet still unfamiliar, form of relationship? My long-distance relationship lasted 3 years. Before we entered this statues we have been together for not quite a year. When you finish school, life stretches ahead of you and there are so many possibilities. And I actually love to encourage anyone to follow his or her dreams and give it a shot, no matter how far it is away. I’m a strong believer that, if the feelings are strong enough, it will be okay to go through such a period of time. Therefore I would never ask someone to not leave if they truly want it and on the other side I would …

Furla Acero

Newest addition to my wardrobe… After wanting a chic, simple and elegant clutch that can go with every outfit, I finally decided to get a Furla Metropolis bag. It’s beige, to be more specific the color is “acero” with some light golden details. The inside is crafted with soft, beige suede and some rivets are supporting the bag from underneath. Dear Furla Metropolis, I love your simple and chic design, that you go with every outfit and I am already looking forward to spending the summer with you!

Ballet Nails with NeoNail

For us, neat and nice nails should just be a standard in every woman’s beauty routine. However, we all know, that’s easier said than done! Especially as a dancer, nails have to endure a lot: some choreographies include dancing on the ground, rolling over, steadying oneself on one arm… Additionally, in Ballet, it’s normally not allowed to wear apparent nail colors like red or dark colors, because as a dancer you are playing a role and the wrong nail polish can destroy a whole character. When you’re a guest at a ballet performance in the theatre on the other hand, you certainly dress up and to every night out dress belongs the right nail polish. Today, in friendly cooperation with NeoNail, we would like to show you two ways of styling your hands in a perfect dancer’s style: First, as a ballet dancer in a soft rose nude, and secondly, as a spectator at the theatre, wearing a glamorous outfit! Here’s our Step By Step Guide to beautiful dancer’s nails:  Our nail look for a …
