The area around Kurfürstendamm is predestined to enjoy the sun, sip a coffee and have a lovely breakfast with a good friend. The Grand Café Cappuchino, the extension of restaurant institutions like Petrocelli, is a perfect spot to do just this. Last time, we both enjoyed the fitness breakfast and it was a real treat. Definitely another favorite brunch and breakfast spot in Berlin! Lyon is a city full of French charm, zest for life and romance. It can offer everything you need for a perfect city trip: culture, culinary experiences and style. Like in many French cities you may observe the French women’s impeccable style while you stroll through the beautiful streets paved with small boutiques and cafés. The church on top of the hill offers an incredible view over the whole city, afterwards you can take a walk down through the massive park and end up in an artisan ice cream store trying one of 70 different flavors.

The price is a little higher than you would expect but for that quality and that quantity it’s definitely worth it. If you are happy to try one I can recommend the soft cheese burger (small € 8.30) or the BBQ-Bacon burger (small € 10.10). Also add some fries and try one of their exotic sauces like cranberry-pepper-mayo or wasabi-chili-garlic-mayo. The Dutch Countryside

During my stay in Amsterdam I got the chance to experience a short trip to the Dutch country side and all I can say is that is it really beautiful. Pink, yellow and red tulip fields paint the scenery in the most beautiful colors possible. The sea breeze blows away your sorrows and the waves sooth your mind. You can reach the beach with only traveling half an hour from the exciting city of Amsterdam and I can only recommend a day trip to discover the Dutch beauty of nature.

Ron’s gastrobar is by far my favorite restaurant in Amsterdam. It offers a wide range of delicious small meals that I would describe as European-fusion. The design is chic and classic, with ironic art pieces on the walls and newspaper like-designed menus. You should definitely try and take different dishes at your table, giving the chance to share the different culinary experiences! This passt weekend the summer temperatures have reached us and we’ve been boiling in the sun. Therefore it was time to shop some new summer pieces which are suitable for every warm holiday destination. During my daily life I am definitely a sneakers girl. I love to walk around comfortably in my Nikes, because they usually are the best option for each weather and situation that may occur. That is also why I decided that I would like to add one really simple pair of Nikes to my selection, that I can wear with every outfit on many occasions. So when I found this pair of black-grey mid high Internationalists online I had to have them. And let me tell you a secret, I even got them a little cheaper than usual with a Cuponation voucher. They are made of a soft material mix of suede and have a rubber sole. Since they are mid height, they feel warm even if the weather is still a little colder. Sweet Treat in Berlin: Der Cupcakeladen

During the extend 1st of May weekend I took the chance with a friend to try a cupcake store in Berlin called Der Cupcakeladen. I already heard from the place and was curious on trying it. A small place with a cute, girly interior is the location you will step into. Their product range is changing daily and you will be able to choose from typical cupcakes and even vegan ones. The taste of the cupcakes was fine but in my opinion not outstanding. A big one costs 2.70 € and a Mini one 1.50 € – a fair price range. Last Friday I finally had the chance to meet the lovely SisterMag girls again. Occasion? They organized an event setting a primary focus how to get healthy and fit through the summer season. In little workshops we got an inside look on health products, beauty treatments and latest wholesomeness helpers. During the lunch break you were able to get a pedi and mani session, polish your hair style or refresh you make up by a great beauty team. And of course we have to mention the delicious food which has been served all day long. Starting with some breakfast treats, a lunch break and in the afternoon sweets and coffee. Dear SisterMag Team, thank you for this great experience and the lovely day I have been able to spend with you. Well done for making us a little more happy and healthy during some hectic weeks.
