Halloween Special Pt. 1 – Esprit

Let us kick-off our Halloween special with more decent pictures since the others are.. let’s see.. a little more bloody. Setting for our this years special was the Wintergarten Varieté in Berlin (a huge big thank you for giving us this opportunity). The photographer was Johannes from JFRcreatives who once again did an amazing job (massiv thank you – always fun working with you). Over the next couple of days, leading to Halloween on the 31st of October, we will share posts dedicated to this spooky time of year just because we love it so much and hope to inspire you a little with our ideas. Culture in Palma: La Seu Cathedral

The Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma (also known as La Seu) is probably one of those places I will never forget. Everything was truly mesmerizing. The architecture is a pure sensation. The Cathedral has been designed in the Catalan Gothic style but has been influenced by Northern European elements. The highlight was the huge rose window through which the light pours in the morning. This is one of the world’s largest: 12m across and studded with 1,236 pieces of stained glass. We highly recommend to come here in the morning since the light inside of the Cathedral is just divine. Tickets coast 7 € but you will not regret paying this. The audio guide is also included and you should take one along because they offer some great information. Make sure to wear long clothes. Way to many people came in shorts, skirts and short shirts. It’s just disrespectful.

Urban Outfitters Spring/Summer 2017

Yesterday we had the chance to visit the Urban Outfitters press day showroom and take an exclusive look at the Spring/Summer 2017 collection. You will see a lot of denim and pastels, thats for sure. Besides seeing that up-coming collection we were also able to flick through their Christmas collection which will be available from November on. Sequined and fake fur are the staples for your festive season wardrobe.

Coffee in New York: Ost Café NYC

Heading to East Village during my last visit to New York made me check out Ost Café, a cozy little spot located on the corner 12th Street / Avenue A. They serve freshly brewed coffee and little sweet treats. The café is packed with people who want to enjoy a coffee and work on their laptops (home away from home as I would call it). I really liked the taste of the coffee nevertheless I didn’t try something of their food pieces since I thought they were a little too expensive. Dinner in Palma: l’ambigú

During my short getaway to Palma we came across this little restaurant. Hidden behind a church in the old town of Palma l’ambigú offers a good selection of tapas and other main dishes. All three of us went for the same dish since it just sounded too good. As you can see in the pictures we had a burger toped with goats cheese and avocado cream, french fries, slices of corn and a salad consisting of small tomatoes and red cabbage. Thanks to the warm evening we were able to sit outside and enjoy the calmness of this location. If you want to enjoy a dinner here, we highly recommend to make a reservation beforehand. Otherwise you can wait between 30 minutes and an hour to get hold of a table. Coffee in Berlin: Windback

A beautiful, small, cozy coffee spot in my neighborhood – Windback. We love their excellent coffee, fresh croissants, fruit & mueslis and the relaxed but simple atmosphere. I often go there during the week if I’m too lazy to make breakfast or in a rush. It’s just more than beautiful to sit in Windscheidstraße, watch the people pass and sip on a cappuccino. Coffee in New York: Chalait

This place is of course nothing new to the New York-coffer-lover-scene and for sure attracts the fashion pack. Inspired by the matcha tradition of Japan, Chalait offers a whole variety of matcha products. The name of the café derives from Cha (tea in Japanese) and lait (milk in French). Besides the delicious coffee you can enjoy some little snacks such as fresh banana bread, cookies, avocado-egg toast and stuffed croissants. And if you feel the need to have some Chalait at home, you can buy some of their products in store and online. Soon they will open another spot at Chelsea Market. Coffee in New York: Cha Cha Matcha

While visiting New York it was impossible to not visit this cute place. Everyone around Prince / Canal Street was running around with a cup of Cha Cha Matcha. This café offers a good range of Matcha products starting with the classic Matcha Latte but also selling Matcha banana bread, doughnuts filled with Matcha cream and Matcha lemonade. You get it: Matcha all over the place. But of course you can also enjoy normal coffee beverages. The interior is cute and the prices normal for New York conditions. But be sure to bring your Credit Card because they don’t expect cash! It puts a spell on you

Those of you who are following us on Instagram and Facebook have probably seen that I’m currently back in New York. But not for Fashion Week as many may think but to follow my passion: dancing. It has become a tradition to visit this city every year to train, be inspired and get new ideas. Again it has been a true pleasure for me and it will be so hard to leave on Monday. I somehow feel a little more attached to the city than the years before and enjoy each and every moment. I hope I can come back soon and train even more. For now I love sharing some snaps with you and over the next weeks you will be able to experience more #newyorkguide posts.
